It took me a lot of courage to book this appointment a couple of weeks ago. I just received a call saying that Dr. Shah is no longer accepting new patients, even though she WAS at the time I booked it and I gave my insurance information and spoke with the office staff back then. Unprofessional and maddening, like much the rest of the health care situation in the US. No wonder people don't bother going to the doctor until they're ready to keel over. Doctors won't even see us anyway.

Dr. Shah made me feel as though she was truly focusing on my individual needs and not recommending a universal, one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I did not feel rushed - she listened intently to the answers I was providing to her many questions and had a real conversation with me about her thoughts. I appreciate that she provided realistic day-to-day solutions and strategies for my treatment. Unfortunately, this is not always the case with many specialty physicians.

Dr. Shah is one of my favorite doctors I have ever had! She is honest and realistic. She listens and wants to help you reach your goals, but still by being supportive, but honest and to the point. She is so thorough as well, and makes sure you have every aspect of the weight loss journey available to you through the clinic: dietician, nutritionist, psychiatrist, exercise, etc.

Dr. Shah is amazing. The office staff is good. That being said they are understaffed and it shows. They are talking about closing the health and fitness center near the hospital. Your actions speak louder than your words that will send the message that you really don't care about our health, but just the bottom line financially. All of your clients should be going to the Edwards health and fitness center, that would be setting your clients up for better health.
