I was in tears driving home after I left my visit. After reading these reviews I at least feel better that it wasn't just me but it also made really mad that these types of doctors are still allowed to practice medicine. I've been having lower right abdominal pain for a month and the CT and ultrasound I had came back normal except for some lymph nodes in that area (which are non specific....them being there just suggest something is going on but doesn't necessarily point to what). I'm also going to have a GI evaluation to see if the pain is stemming from that, but since this is an area where I also feel ovulation pain and cysts I made a gyne appointment to rule out anything related to that which couldn't be seen on imaging. I picked him just because he had an appointment that was available this week and my normal obgyn was booked out kind of far. Again, this is the first time I've seen this doctor. He literally came through the door saying why are you here? There's nothing wrong, your CT and ultrasound where normal....AND THEN he introduced himself. After I explained why I came in he said, "I think you're grasping at straws here." The whole appointment felt like he was hostile and annoyed with the fact I was there taking up his time. Then proceeded to be completely dismissive that it could be anything gyne related, shot down all of my concerns, didn't take me seriously and was just not receptive at all to listen to me. Then he had the audacity after ALL THAT to say at the end, 'well it COULD be endometriosis'. Ladies, use our experience and find another doctor.

I have never felt so neglected in my whole life. I chose him because of the reviews but, they had to have been lies. My first visit, there was no exam, all he did was press on my already painful stomach. He pushed birth control, lying to me telling me that it would shrink the cyst that was the size of a baseball, again lies!! I go back for a second visit, no real exam and he gave me very horrible medical advice. I literally sat in the room and cried. I felt like he didn’t care about me especially because I was a black woman. I will never return to him or recommend him to anyone I know

I went to see Dr. Weeks wanting a second opinion on abdominal pain that I had recently had. A prior ultrasound had shown I was having issue with my tubes and ovaries. Dr. Weeks was completely dismissive and did not believe me when I told him what was wrong. Belittled my feelings and acted as if I was making it all up. And he went as far as to say, "if you no longer have pain, why are you here? We'll never know why you had it anyway". I have never been treated like this by a physician and will never go back to see him again nor recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Peter Weeks. My experience is in sharp contrast to the poor review that someone left in 2016, and I have been a patient of his for at least 15 years. Dr. Weeks has excellent bedside manner, and I feel like he genuinely cares about me, not just as a patient but as an individual. He visits with me briefly before he gets to the exam. He presents medical information in a manner that is clear and easy to understand. Professional, kind. Wait time in the lobby has always been very short. He is an oby/gyn so I think maybe he was late one time in all these years because he was delivering a baby. Nancy P

I randomly selected Dr. Weeks as my OBGYN when I moved to Illinois. Best luck ever! 30 years, 4 children, many health issues and now menopause, he's been my doctor through it all. Very professional, has always made me feel comfortable and confident that I was getting the care that I needed.

Dr. Peter Weeks: This physician is too emotional, I have never experienced a physician not be in control of their emotions. Edwards has plenty of remarkable doctors and unfortunately my experience with this particular doctor was not a good representation of the quality service I am accustomed to.

Doctor Weeks is very friendly and careful! He became my favorite doctor, he does my pap smear and regular exams without any discomfort or pain to me. Great, great gynecologist!!!
