Ryan C Burgette's Online Review Report Card

I took my one-and-a-half year old daughter to Dr. Burgette because she has had restless sleep since she was born, and friends said it might be because of enlarged adenoids. The doctor treated my daughter and me very kindly, and he checked out her adenoids since I was concerned. I thought he was great- professional, approachable, and not rushed. It turns out her adenoids are normal, but he gave advice about lessening her possible nasal congestion.

Would not see us because we were, literally, one minute late. We were late because Google took us to this Naperville location instead of Plainfield. While we wait for another appointment, our child is still sick. We are not going back here if we can help it.

I found in on the internet and would not recommend him. I have a very red sore under my nose. My GP had a culture done and it as diagnosed with Enterobacter cloacae which a bacterial infection. He claimed it was no infection that I should see a dermatologist, I told that I was at the dermatologist and agreed it was a bacterial infection from my nose dripping and wiping it. He said no I need to go to one of his recommendations.

Dr. Burgette is a great dr and surgeon. Highly recommend dr. Burgette and his both offices.

Absolutely do NOT schedule here. Firstly they NEVER called to confirm our appointment I had to call myself. We’ve been looking forward to this appointment for almost a month. We ran 5 minutes late due to traffic and walked in 10 minutes on the dot because it ended up being a terrible accident on the way - I called to let them know we were running late - because respectfully I understand a doctors time knowing I work next to one everyday myself. We were given paperwork to fill out and told to take a seat (I offered over the phone to complete paperwork and fax over our insurance card for verification to expedite the process at check in because that’s what a great office with customer care would do.) We were asked to come up at 3:20pm and told the doctor left the building because he thought we weren’t coming? 1. You all didn’t even take time to confirm our appointment as your patient and advocate for your OWN schedule 2. You didn’t tell us that at check in the doctor left 3. I called we would be late and their front receptionist stated she was not informed which is amongst your OWN STAFF responsibility of and she delivered the message very RUDE I’m huge on respect and customer service and keeping patients in a schedule if you truly value their health. Obviously DULY and Dr. Ryan do not. So if you want to feel like a number - go here.

Dr. Burgette could not have been less interested in my concerns. He spent all of five minutes to look in my ears, have me open and close my jaw before telling me the symptom I have was not possible. Told me to take a gummy and forget about it. He could not have been more dismissive if he tried. Although my GP wasn't sure what to do to help, at least she believed my concern and seemed genuinely interested in helping. Unfortunately, Dr. Burgette was the ENT with time open on his calendar first. Now I'm back at square one. Have never met a Dr. who seemingly had no interest in helping.

I was basically told the symptom I complained about wasn't possible and that I should take some CBD gummies and forget about it. He could not have been more dismissive and only seemed interested in ushering me out of his exam room.

Very gentle, very nice, very friendly & top notch in his specialty. I felt good right away. Definitely, I will recommend Dr. Burgette.

I was recommended to a different doctor in the office by my daughters pediatrician for having recurring ear ruptures but since that doc wasn’t available they scheduled me with Burgette. Worst experience with a doctor I’ve ever had! Barely checked her ears, was very short and dry with me and gave me no information other than she’s fine. He made me feel foolish for even bringing her in when more than one doctor told me she needs to see an ent. A two year old having 4 ear ruptures in 6 months seems like an issue to me... I would not recommend him to anyone!

My 10 year old has been seeing him since 5 years old for multiple issues.He is wonderful with him and very informative with issues he had.Would highly recommend to anybody to see him. I did see him last week also for my vocal cord issues.He has been great for me too.
