I started going to CR Medical group to see Dr. Koehler on the recommendation of my grandmother. The experience was pretty average, not outstanding but the doctor heard me and didn’t openly contradict me or belittle me (which is sadly uncommon these days). Normally I wouldn’t review a doctor on Google, but after the office has brushed me off two days in a row while I’ve been out of my SSRI medication (being off cold turkey is dangerous) I felt compelled to warm others. If you have any mental or physical illness that requires timely and compassionate care, find someone else. I have never experienced a doctor so cavalier with a patients mental stability.

Just saw Dr Koehler, she was awesome. Very thorough, answered all my concerns, very caring and communicable. Loved her!!

I have always thought that doctors were suppose to make sure you are taken care of. That didn’t happen to me, she refused to call my pharmacy and prescribe medication for me after I had called and ask that she call me back because when I called the office she wasn’t in, I spoke to someone in the office at 9:00am and explained my suffering. She said the doctor would call me when she got in the office at 1:00pm. Now I have been sick for 3 days and needed meds. She refused to talk to me and had the switchboard girl give me a message that she wasn’t going to write a prescription. So unprofessional, not even a nurse to call me back! That’s not good medical practice.

Dr. Koehler is a professional, highly skilled and great diagnostician. She is a warm, caring and compassionate practitioner. She vigorously does research to offer the patient educated choices.

She cancelled my blood pressure pills without notice saying I needed to see her to get lab results.well maybe you do need more lab tests after so long but it sure would be nice to get a notice before you cancel my blood pressure pills that I take everyday

She is a caring doctor that see's all four of my children twins 4, 6 and a 16 year old, and my husband and myself. She is motherly and talks to my children in a way that makes them relax when they see her. Her people skills are excellent! She is not quick to suggest medicine, unless necessary. A great experience to share is when my 4 yr old was getting his staples out of his head, she gave him a little Christmas tote with a few small gifts that to him meant the world! Very pleased we made the switch to all see one doctor. She knows our family this way. I would highly recommend her as your family doctor!
