I was referred by hospital staff to Dr. Ratkovich after breaking my foot a few days before Christmas. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I had with Dr. Ratkovich and his staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I called, and they scheduled an appointment the next morning for me. When I arrived at Parkview Orthopedic Group's New Lenox office, I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of entering the building. My husband was able to drive me up to the door where a wheel chair was available. The staff was extremely helpful and patient. I was brought back immediately for an X-ray, and the staff was very compassionate and made me comfortable. Dr. Ratkovich explained that I needed surgery in a way that that put me at ease. He is very kind, compassionate, skilled, and easy to talk to. My surgery was scheduled for two days later and was a complete success. I was able to celebrate the holidays with peace of mind that I was in good hands.

I have been suffering with planters facilia for about 3 years and it was getting worse the last 6 months. An MRI slowed I had tares in my achlies tendon and he suggested having surgery right away. The surgery went well but my recovery is a little slow because of being a diabetic. He is easy to get in touch with and will get you into the office as soon as he can. He has a great personality, explains everything so that you can understand. My husband enjoyed taking me to my visits to joke around with him about my predicament. I would highly recommend him! Don't give it a second thought. Go see him.
