Dr. Yamada is an outstanding surgeon. July 17, 2020 I had to have emergency surgery to remove my colon. I was in real bad physical condition due to alcoholism. Dr. Yamada asked my family if I really wanted to live. Their answer was an overwhelming, HELL YES. He told them that I had about a 30% chance of survival and living for a year, maybe. Well, I'm here writing about this 23 months later

Our mother was cared for by Dr Yamada in Silver Cross Hospital. He proceeded to do a biopsy on her wound with very little explanation of what he was doing, making her very nervous. I attempted to speak with Dr. Yamada and asked that he be paged on two separate instances with no response. I then left a message on the office answering machine for results of her biopsy which was never returned as well. We had a terrible experience with this physician and would absolutely never recommend him.
