Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

So thankful for these wonderful group of people who have patiently helped me with my pain caused by a cyst in my spinal cord. Despite taking multiple medications I have pain 24/7 and hardly getting sleep at night for years. I started having needling sessions a year ago and felt the big difference just after a few sessions. This is the ONLY therapy that allowed me to be off my pain patch and dose reduce on my remaining medications. Parul, JOby and the rest of the group have helped me with this journey. Highly recommend dry needling and going to these amazing people!

This review is for Carrie Rose who is phenomenal. She is extremely knowledge, a great listener, and makes you feel at ease. I am a physician and this is my second PT experience; I have worked with a handful of physical therapists in the past but Carrie truly stands out as the best and is deserving of a review. The facility itself is also great and has everything needed to rehab well. My injury was to my right ankle but during my 5 months of rehab, I also discovered issues with my knee and hip strength and Carrie really built me up to where I’m running again and feel strong. You can tell she puts a lot of thought into the treatment plan, preparing in advance, and adjusts as needed based on my concerns. I appreciated the ASTYM and BFR therapy as well as Carries expertise surrounding this. The home exercises were also very clear and helpful. Ann, another physical therapist there, also stands out as she has helped me out a few times like adjusting my stance to optimize my exercises. Parul also was a great help in giving tips for running form. I think the front desk communication is now much better with new hire. When I first spoke in March, I was told by the rep on the phone my initial consultation with Athletico would be free but it wasn’t. It’s not a big deal in the end that I had to pay for that but the transparent communication would have been helpful. Didn’t impact my experience with my physical therapist as above. Highly recommend Carrie and this location.

Joby John is an incredible physical therapist. I normally stay away from chains but decided to give Athletico a try with their free initial evaluation and was impressed. I felt that Dr. John immediately recognized the core issue with sharp pain around stabilizing the knee and honestly provided his recommendations without any sales pressure. I've attended numerous sessions and used techniques such as KT Taping, BFR, and Dry Needling to help with the problematic areas. I felt it was worth my time and the exercises prescribed had a meaningful impact with having my condition treated. There's additional parking dedicated to Athletico in the back. I've been impressed with the facility (large open space in the middle), treadmill (not many PT spots have one), and very friendly operating hours when scheduling early mornings or evenings, Joby John clearly has a passion for the field and genuinely cares about patients and providing top quality care. Great place for physical therapy! The staff is very knowledgeable and kind and really cares about their patients. Fast forward 1.5 years, my knee pain is gone and I have improved my overall physical strength significantly! Carrie was my therapist and worked wonders, she modified workouts, answered all my questions and used different techniques to treat my condition. I am really lucky I was able to find such a wonderful person; Carrie has always been nothing but professional and caring. Thank you!

I have been using this Athletico Morton Grove group for close to 5yrs, for various orthopedic rehab and muscle development. I have worked with each of the Therapist and all of the assistances. Before I started using Athletco Martin Grove, I was using the various rehabs out Evanston Hospital Skokie Hospital IBJI just mention a few. I bumped around from Therapist to Therapist which really created a lack of continuity of care in my treatment. As for Athletico MG - I cannot begin to sing the praises I have for the therapist that I work with at Athletico Morton Grove. Each the therapist is highly professional and truly knows their stuff, enabling them to nail down the specific exercises and stretching that is needed to not only rehab the muscles that are in question were to build up the surrounding muscles to help remove existing pressure from current bone joint issues. I take my hat off to the whole team. Then have work seamlessly together, and with my doctors to ensure that I am still able to do - what I want to do. Thank you Joe

I have been to many facilities for physical therapy. This Athletico Physical Therapy in Morton Grove is amazing. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and capable to administer the best exercise and management for a range of physical issues. Also, you experience their friendly and competent atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I would definitely refer this facility to anyone.

Excellent experience here. Joby John was my physical therapist and he did an excellent job through my whole treatment experience. I suffered from a dislocated shoulder and he helped me with a range of treatments to get back on course with my treatment. All the staff are friendly and work hard to get you what you need. Joby John is a very knowledgeable physical therapist that work with you to identify issues and develops the best therapy treatment for your needs and abilities. He helps find the problem areas as well as teaches the exercises to overcome issues. The entire staff at this facility are great to work with and are highly recommended.
