I read good reviews of Dr. Ethington so chose to see him for cataracts. I had already scheduled surgery with a major medical group. I had started the process back before covid shut downs and didn’t have my 1st eye scheduled until mid-December. My vision was getting worse. I am not someone who likes a lot of todo. With the other group I needed to go without contacts for 3 weeks prior to the first measurement, and again 3 weeks prior to surgery (I’ve worn contacts exclusively for over 40 years so this was a challenge for me) get labs and a covid test, have a second measurement and quarantine for 2 weeks. Who can take that much time off of work? I met Dr Ethington, he is friendly, knowledgeable, great credentials, LISTENS. And also somehow manages to be efficient and on time with appointments. 6 weeks after 1st appointment both eyes are done, surgery was smooth and painless and I have the best vision I’ve had in 50+ years with multi focal lenses. I am beyond satisfied!

Dr Ethington saved my eyesight with his correct diagnosis of the problem I was having ,I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him and the entire office staff at this office .

I had a 3:00 appointment yesterday, but waited in two separate rooms for a total of 1.5 hours after my initial tests/dilating the eye. I saw the doctor at 5:00, for five minutes. I was livid by the time he came in. The only silver lining was that nothing was wrong. He was knowledgeable and nice, but I would not recommend this office or go back unfortunately.

Unfortunately first impressions matter. I had my comprehensive Eye exam yesterday at 3:00. I was called back to the initial exam room at 3:10 for initial tests, and to have eyes dilated for the doc to examine. I was brought to a secondary room to sit for “15-20 min” to let eyes fully dialate. Almost an HOUR later I was called to sit in the doctor’s office, for “a few minutes”. I sat in that office for another 45 MINUTES, I looked at a clock outside the office and it was approaching 5:00!! I really felt that the staff forgot about me. I was absolutely livid. The reception staff was tidying up the waiting room, and my husband asked about me, wondering where I was as it was 5:00 and my appt was for 3. They said I was with the doctor, and he said no, she’s texting me from the empty office and still hasn’t seen the doctor. This was absolutely unacceptable and sadly I wouldn’t go to this location again, even though Dr. Ethington was fine. I spent 2 hours for 5 min of care.

My experience with him was great.

I saw two doctors before him that both told me my problem was cataracts. He did additional testing and sent me right over to ER, he told me it was a brain problem not a eye problem. Finally, I was given a correct diagnosis.
