Dr Schoenig is the best doctor I have. He is thorough and kind and really cares about his patients. My husband and I have been going to him for many years. I would not see anyone else. He is the only doctor I can say I look forward to seeing.

I am not receiving adequate care from my current GI doctor, so I reached out to Dr. Schoenig to get a second opinion and to see if he could help. He refused to take me on as a new patient - or even give a second opinion - because he said my tests were so recent that he felt I'd be better off staying with my current doc for "continuity" reasons. This is the most stupid reason I have ever heard, and he is failing at his duty as a health care provider. I suggest finding someone who actually cares and isn't so full of himself.

I’ve been with him since 2009. Until I met him my health was not controlled. After meeting him and finding out the problem I’ve been good to go. I travel over an hour and half to see him since moving but I will not switch doctors!

I would recommend Dr. Schoenig highly. He has done both endoscopy and colonoscopy on me. They were very comfortable procedures and Dr. Schoenig was very caring and very informative on my disease. He really cares about his patients.
