Dr. Clark is a great doctor. He always takes the time to talk with you and explains everything ??
Very conversational, but jumped to conclusions and didn't listen well. Focused on treating my symptoms, while i asked to find the root cause. Nice enough though.
My experience with Dr. Clark’s office and staff has been amazing over the past few months. April has been working with me and has kept me informed every step of the way. Her persistence, professionalism and personality are much appreciated, which makes me glad to be a patient at Dr. Clark’s practice.
Left my former GI Specialist to come to Dr. Clark. Best decision ever. Caring, listens. Very pleasant bed side manner. Is honest about his limits, ego is in check. If Dr. Clark feels he can't help, he helps you find someone who can rather than minimizing you as a patient. Highly recommend.
Very unlikely, he was rude and dismissive.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!He is quite possibly the most arrogant and ignorant doctor I have ever had the misfortune of seeing. I went in to see him regarding some gut issues I was having. I told him on the first visit that it was most likely the methane version of SIBO. He REFUSED to believe me. He insisted on running several other useless tests. I pleaded with him to do the SIBO test first and he said if I didn't like the way he did things, I could go elsewhere. He was beyond rude. I got the useless tests done and nothing came up. I then had him order the SIBO test from the SIBO Center of the Midwest. They are the SIBO experts. I called the SIBO center to get the results. They told me the tests came back with elevated levels of hydrogen AND methane. When methane is involved it requires two medications to treat it. The hydrogen version only requires one. The nurse from Dr. Clark's office called me saying I only had elevated hydrogen levels and Dr. Clark called in ONLY ONE of the necessary drugs. I told her I spoke with the SIBO center and they said I had elevated methane levels and needed both medications. She said that Dr. Clark looked over their findings and decided against it and refused to acknowledge the findings of the foremost SIBO experts in the country. He REFUSED to give me the second medication. Basically he is angry that I was right about the initial diagnosis and is refusing to give me the medication just to spite me. He is obligated to give me something, so he is doing the bare legal minimum. So if you need a gastroenterologist....GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. He is horrible and should have his license revoked.
Dr.Clark is the best doctor to see for Celiac Disease patients! He is very caring and knowledgeable of people that super sensitive to gluten. Very up to date on current issues. He is very easy to talk to and the front staff and nursing staff are top notch!
Doctors office personnel are not helpful with billing issues. My insurance covers 100% on some screening procedures. They filed with insurance wrong, costing me a deductible and will not correct their mistake. I was told to submit past records, which I did only to be told showing clean medical history and they still would not admit their mistake. They suggested I come and make an appointment with the doctor to discuss. yep, another $180 office visit, I don't think so.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
