Ongoing providerpateint realtionship since a kidney stone attack in 2012 Stones are prevalent in my family. Through his diagnosis and care recommendations I have been able to avoid all but the smallest stones which most have gotten passed uneventfully. Can not help to be grateful as at least one other family member living outside the midwest continually struggles with kidney stone development and treatments. Its worth noting Dr. Steinbergs offive is a 240mile round trip for me. Consider what hes done for me I consider the distance only a minor inconvenience.

The staff is terrible I would not recommend this office to anyone After seeing the Dr. I was told that the recommended procedure for me is not covered by my health insurance without even confirming with the insurance company as the Dr. will not make any money from it What ever happened to helping people and Hippocrates Oath. If there is a portion that my insurance will not cover I will gladly pay for it However they just said No they will not do the procedure without even trying to pre certify This office discriminates towards whatever type of insurance you carry They only care about MONEY Shameful and disgusting

I went to the Emergency Room in extreme pain and Dr. Steinberg came in and said I had a kidney stone and surgery was required. He did the procedure and I woke up completely pain free. I have seen him at his office and he has been very informative and takes the time to answer my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
