I visited Dr. Reynolds for my annual appointment. She was friendly and asked me some questions about my plans to have children. We had a very brief conversation where she asked me if I understood how to track ovulation and if I was tracking my cycles. I replied "yes" to both questions, then she handed me a photocopy of a flyer about fertility. A few days later, I received a bill in the mail from Dr. Reynolds for $90. Unbeknownst to me, answering Dr. Reynold's yes/no questions counts as a "fertility consultation". I contacted the billing office and Dr. Reynolds' office. Both times I spoke with very nice women who were told that they were unable to wave this ridiculous charge. I won't be returning to see Dr. Reynolds because how will I know what she is charging me for at any given moment?

Dr. Reynolds helped me feel at ease at my first gynocologist appt. She explained everything about the pelvic exam and Pap smear before she started, and narrated while she did it. She answered all my sex and reproductive questions. She was competent and personable. Definitely coming back in the future!
