Dr. Levin was great with my son and took the least invasive route to understand what was going on. She followed up on our test results and provided me peace of mind and offered more testing if I wanted it, but reassured me it wasn’t necessary. I truly appreciate the partnership in my child’s health care.

Dr Levin has a wonderful bedside manner and was the only doctor that took the time to really listen to my concerns about my child’s lack of growth. She ordered tests and diagnosed him with a growth disorder. Her nurses worked with my insurance to quickly get needed medication. I truly value her and this practice for changing my son’s life. He was always self conscious about his small size and the medical care she has provided is literally magic…he is now growing! We are thankful for her every day!

Dr. Levin is probably one of the worst care providers I have every encountered. I chose her due to the high ratings for Lurie's pediatric endocrinology dep. During office visits she behaves in a disinterested manner. Just asks the basic scripted follow up questions. When we ask her questions her usual response is " I don't understand". Orders tests and then doesn't bother to follow up with the results. Just sends the lab test results through an automated message via mychart. When I noticed "alerts" or exclamation points on his recent test results I called the office in a panic. Took about three days to get a response from one of the nurses. All she did is send a message through mychart to tell me "everything is ok". No details and no call from the actual doctor. If you care about your child's health please look into another healthcare provider.

Dr. Levin is not to be trusted! She told us at a routine visit, not urgent, that she had to run some blood tests on my son. She did not mention that the tests might be expensive and that are insurance coverage should be checked first which is what happens when any big tests or procedures are done, she also did not say that we might want to go to a cheaper lab because Lurie can be more expensive. The tests were $5000! We owe a $1000. The worst part is that Dr. Levin is telling us and the supervisors that she told us that before drawing blood. If she told us that and it wasn’t urgent why would we go ahead and do it. I guess this a business not medical care!!!
