Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

Have been going to Athletico in Lake Forest and receiving excellent care. I have two chronic issues, so I go each week. Went this morning and was initially happy that Athletico was open.Upon arriving, they screened all patients for Covid-19 with questions (no thermometer available), but NONE of the therapists or staff were wearing gloves or masks. They come in contact with so many infirm people and this virus is super contagious, even if you have no symptoms. For the health of your staff and your patients, PLEASE get your teams protective gear. OR CLOSE YOUR DOORS.We have filed a complaint with the Lake County Health Department. All other medical facilities (and even Jewel grocery store) provide their employees with gloves and masks, at least. How unprofessional and irresponsible in these challenging times!

very unethical company with unprofessional doctors. Company doesn't provide enough support to the doctors to give good quality of service. Then medical negligence gets covered by the company and more professional doctors. It's not worth to trust company like that your own health. With physical therapy you cannot know exactly if it's provided correctly right away. In my case it was all incorrect, unprofessional uneducated doctors with big ego and ethical problems. Yet cover up very well in the medical records. But the result devastated, a small mistake that should have been caught in the first few sessions got instead covered up by 3 month of incorrect physical therapy. As the result a year later I am close to be disabled with serious health issues, yet a year ago it was a routine small fix that if implemented correctly would only have taken 10 visits. Another important thing is that most of the negative google reviews company hides or reports as incorrect, so there is no real picture on real customer experience on google maps

Had shoulder surgery in early May and came home to Oak Brook. Have done my physical therapy at AthletiCo on 16th in Oak Brook. I was assigned to Abby Davis and we began. I can say that the entire team and facility operates like a fine tuned machine. Professional staff helping each other and lookin after the facility and it's equipment as if it were their own! Since starting the program in mid June I can report that Abby has me performing beyond my optimistic expectations which assured me of a continuing active lifestyle...important for a 79 year old retired gentleman I proudly boast about AthletiCo to all I see and they see the difference it has made in me. I have been a patient of the Arlington Heights Illinois Athletico for a couple of years. Following my hip replacement in February, 2018, I had pt until May, 2018. I received pre-surgery exercise training in September, 2018 and then following my December, 2018 knee replacement, I was a patient through June, 2019. My primary therapist was Jamie Lewandowski, but I was also seen by Sylvia, Brook and Beth. I am 69 years old and have had pt numerous times throughout my life. I can say with no reservations that Jamie Lewandowski is the best therapist I have ever had. She tailored every session to what I needed most that day. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, but persistent in ensuring you hve the best recovery possible.The office staff also is exceptional. Nancy particularly is friendly and helpful. I always felt welcomed and was never kept waiting past my appointment time.I have Medicare and a supplement so I can't speak to their billing practices. But the care I received and the results I achieved at Athletico in Arlington Heights were the best I have ever experienced from physical therapy.

This place is a racket! Rude service department, lack of information provided about payment prior to visits! Be careful, you could end up with thousands of dollars in bills.

I have been going through billing Hell with the billing department.After paying for my therapy they have yet to correct my billing statement.It's been over a year. I have sent registered letters, emailed and even called. Every time I call they take a message and say the billing manager will call me. They never have!I simply dont know what to do about these people. Physical therapy was fine (a little expensive) but the billing department is terrible.If I need PT in the future I will make sure to find another place to work with. This isn't worth the hassle.

Totally overpriced! I found better service at a quarter of the price. Will never go to any Athletico again.

Unqualified physical therapists ...Corporate policies suport profit over ethical patient care. Billing practices under investigation. Many violations documented. Stay away.

This company is horrible! If you have a serious injury you might want to think about staying away from this company period. I took a functional evaluation capacity with this company after three surgeries and a permanent limited condition. The therapist that was giving the test was extremely rude and he was handling my shoulder very ruff even after I was telling him that he was hurting me. He proceeded to raise my arm as I was in pain after the test I waited for the report on the report he lied and said that I raised my arm over my head multiple times with my own power! Even my doctor was shock at such a report because I have had the same doctor for the pass 9 years and he also performed the 3 surgeries on me. Dr. Doctor even stated to me that if he didn't know me from reading this report that he would've thought that nothing was wrong with my shoulder the therapist stated that I was putting on about my pain and mobility. This was truly an insult to me by all means, I wrote letters for months to the president in which I never received any type of reply from him. I also made numerous calls to the corporate office in which I was blown off from the staff and they also stated that they would leave the president a message in which he never responded again I would stay away from this company at any cost!

never use this company for any worker comp issues they will lied on you in writing and when you contest it they won't change anything. Especially stay away from Paul Sullivan because he is prejudice against blacks so beware and stay away from this company.
