Athletico Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

The occupational therapist Martin Feeney was very good at recognizing and recommending what treatments and exercises were needed for recovering from carpal tunnel surgery.

I requested a free assessment with this location earlier this year. When I showed up for the appointment, I was told that my insurance covers 8 sessions with a therapist. I subsequently received an invoice for $300 for this "free assessment" a few weeks into my treatment. I called the location and the admin could not give me any information on why I was being charged and said she would follow up with their office but I have not heard back since. I am now being told that I will be sent to collections if I don't pay in full. My therapist was good but front desk is an absolute joke not having a record that I booked my initial appointment under the free assessment offered on their website. Contacted the corporate office myself and have heard nothing back either. Take your business to any of the numerous physiotherapy locations in the area who won't try and rip you off a few hundred dollars.

Physical therapy can be a challenge and a painful experience. Having bone on bone shoulder arthritis the doctors told me I may not be able to tolerate therapy. From day one Billy knew exactly what to do. He made me feel at ease explaining what needed to be done. He assessed my condition and planned my therapy. He has improved my mobility and improved my strength. I highly recommend Athletico and Billy as an excellent therapist who cares about each patients needs.

I've had a wonderful experience at this facility after a bad ankle break that included broken bones, a severed tendon and joint damage from a sports injury. The entire staff is friendly, my appointments were always on time, and the stretches and exercises we worked on at each stage of recovery were just the right amount of hard work :-) to gain range of motion back and restrengthen atrophied muscles. I would highly recommend seeing Joe if you can!

Thank you Billy for helping me with my frozen shoulder. Although not back to 100%, I have gained more range of motion and appreciate your patience and encouragement! I had an amazing experience at Athletico in Oak Brook! After rupturing my Achilles tendon, Billy was the most amazing PT I could have ever asked for. He supported my progress both physically and emotionally. He always wanted to make sure I was recovering well and pushed me to get to the next step. He is beyond helpful, compassionate and cares about all of his patients. Whenever you walk into Athletico in Oak Brook, Billy is always waving hello and welcoming everyone in. I always heard people complimenting him on his outstanding work. I couldn't imagine going through such a long, intense recovery without Billy as my PT. He is very knowledgable and understands how to individually assess each person based on their injury. I highly recommend Billy and am so thankful to have gained his support and friendship throughout my journey!

I recently completed 10 sessions at Athletico, primarily with Billy Sheehan. He was terrific. I actually looked forward to our sessions. Billy has an engaging personality and takes his craft seriously. I loved the variety of exercises and was impressed with the various pieces of equipment available through Athletico. I would highly recommend Athletico in that I had used their services years ago. Their staff is accommodating and thorough in their approach to rehabilitation.

Billy Sheehan did a great job helping me recovery from a knee injury! The treatments were great and he helped me with exercises to do at home and the conversation was appreciated as well. The whole staff at Oak Brook is very helpful! Excellent place to do physical therapy!
