Dr. Chahla and his team are outstanding! He laid out all my options and I did choose to have surgery for FAI and labrum tear which was successful. After a long recovery including intensive PT the pain and function are much improved. My other hip has same issues and when the time comes I will definitely choose Dr. Chahla and him team to preform surgery again.

Dr. Chahla has an excellent bedside manner. He’s warm, made me feel comfortable the first time we met. He took the time to explain the surgical procedure and listened to my concerns during the recovery period. His staff is friendly and helpful with questions that I had. His skill as a surgeon has allowed me to heal from a knee problem I’ve had for a number of years. I would highly recommend Dr: Chahla.

Every visit Ive had with him from the beginning has been excellent. I had tore a rotator cuff out of state and he saw me the morning we flew in. Assessed evaluated developed a plan. Saw me again the same day after helping me arrange to get an MRI. Arranged for Physical Therapy noninvasive but did not improve. We then set up the surgery. Covid 19 made it a challenge. So far Im progressing quicker than anticipated with a complex rotator cuff tear surgery. Has a written protocol for Physical Therapist to follow. Has listened and answered all questions. Appears genuine and caring.

Dr. Chahla treated my shoulder. I had an unstable feeling in the shoulder during workouts. Doc examined my shoulder and treated the pain successfully.I made a complete recovery in a short amount of time.

I had a surgery consult with Dr. Chahla in Munster office a few weeks ago for 2 muscular tears in the shoulder/rotator cuff. My ortho had suggested that I would need surgery. I was really nervous about the whole experience. Dr. Chahla was so detailed in showing me inflammation and the tear in the MRI I had. He then suggested no surgery and instead recommended a cortisone shot on the actual bicep. He used a guided ultrasound to make sure everything was accurate. He was so nice and kind to me. Really liked his physician assistant as well. The fact that he wasn't recommending surgery when I clearly thought I was going to have to have surgery is a testament to what a great ortho he is.
