Nicholas Kondelis's Online Review Report Card

I've been seeing Dr Kondelis since 2014. He's been an immense help for my pain. I have the utmost respect for his knowledge & abilities. For some, he may not seem the most congenial doctor they've ever seen, but he knows his stuff. If you give him the chance, you'll be happy you did. Not every condition is as treatable as we'd like, but I'm confident if he has a way (with over 30 yrs successful experience), he will do the best that's available.

So very cold, doesn’t remember your case at all, screws up the procedures, failed to put me to sleep and my husband heard me screaming down the hall!, worst staff. The only one I like is the office manager who took my side with the doctor and screamed at him because of how he was treating me and because he was all over the place! It’s like he has amnesia or something! He should retire! He’s very cold and I don’t even feel like a person when I’m with him. He doesn’t listen to you and has no empathy. He’s so conceded and puts so many doctors down in front of you! I definitely recommend you doing your research before you come here!

Rude, self centered and unprofessional are a few words that I would use to describe Mr. K. I will not give him the respect of calling him Dr. He does not deserve or warrant such a title. Honestly ... I can think of a few words besides MR but I don’t want to stoop to his level. Do yourself a favor and look for a real Dr.

I don't know what I would do without Dr.Kondelis. He is a fantastic doctor. I love the office and the staff, so very nice and friendly. His associate Paulie is the very best.

Dr. Kondelis has far exceeded all of my expectations. Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple procedures and surgeries to relieve my lower back, legs, groin and hip pain. After these surgeries/procedures with my former surgeons and specialists, I was still experiencing severe and debilitating pain. From day one with Dr. Kondelis and his team, I knew things would be different. Dr. Kondelis spent more time with me during my first appointment than all my previous doctors had combined. Dr. Kondelis’s care and attention to detail is second to none. If it weren’t for Dr. Kondelis and his amazing team, I wouldn’t be on track to getting my life back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Kondelis and his team for any and all of your pain management needs.

I have seen 5 pain doctors in the last 15 years and Dr Kondelis is by far the best! I have CPS and severe lumbar spine issues. On my first visit he spent a lot of time with me and devised a plan to get my pain under control. He's very compassionate and caring. His office and staff are welcoming. Make an appointment, you'll be glad you did.

I'm a 62 year old man who has had terrible lower back pain for years. I've had a surgery, injections and physical therapy. They all helped, but the pain always comes back. Lately, I've been having huge back pain again and I had practically given up, until I was referred to Dr Kondelis at Advanced Pain Consultants in Oak Brook. I was seen quickly, the Dr reviewed my MRI, assessed my overall situation, and recommended a Lumbar Transforaminal Epidural Steroid Injection (I had them write it down in case this actually worked). It's now been a few days since the injection and my pain level has been reduced big time. I'm not pain free, but I'm very very close to pain free. I am kinda in shock at how good I am feeling. I'm so grateful. Do yourself a favor and go there if you have severe pain.

Believe it or not I found Dr. Kondelis with Advanced Pain Consultants in the Yellow Pages...yes, I used an actual book with pages! :) I think it was 2009/2010 when I needed to find someone who could help me figure out what was wrong with my back and spine. Dr. Kondelis was local, he was accepting new patients, and willing to listen to my questions as well as concerns and I've been his patient ever since. His knowledge and expertise in the field of pain has been certainly tested with me on several different issues, from my back/spinal problems, to migraines, to pulled/pained muscles in several areas (knees, legs, neck, back, shoulders, arms etc.) just to name a few. Dr. Kondelis as well as his staff are very thorough in their examinations which ensure the best possible care for treating his patients. I'd also like to mention that he goes that extra mile for his patients when their overall well-being is concerned. He helped petition BCBS by each of us submitting in writing reasons for requesting additional migraine treatments outside the normal frequency of what is allowed due to my chronic situation. And much to my surprise the insurance company accepted our request. I can't thank him enough for supporting me in that endeavor as well as helping me to continue managing my back and spinal pain for a better quality of life.
