I have heard such wonderful things about Akwetey but I just had a horrible time trying to get an office visit. I booked an appointment, blocked my calendar, and filled out the intake paperwork. I hit submit probably 14 times and they canceled my appointment because of not getting my paperwork. I tried to reinstate my appointment because they kept telling me they’re not receiving my paperwork and I tried about 15 times to complete it. A glitch in their system was not allowing the confirmation of submission after fifteen times and they could not let me have my appointment or even let me find an alternate way to send in the info by fax or scanning. Sometimes technology fails, to me it’s not a good reason to put patients through trying to push an online form 15 times and canceling their appointment. Does not seem like good business. In the end it made me want to find another provider to meet with. Such a shame because I’ve made so many referrals to this place based on my family’s experience.

Mr Akrong has truly been an unbelievable blessing to me and my mental health. My last year has been beyond challenging in many ways from insurance issues, identity theft that unfortunately is not only financial, to personal traumatic experiences…having only had one visit so far with Mr Akrong it was beyond refreshing, comfortable and I felt what a great provider Mr Akrong is. I highly recommend Mr Akrong to anyone who may need a trusted, reliable, experienced and personable mental health provider! Thank you so very much! Tiffany W.

You will never find anyone as passionate, understanding, and benevolent as Mr. Akwetey Akrong. He listens intently, cares deeply, and provides the best advice and care plan tailored to my needs. It truly is a privilege and an honor to have him guide me through the difficulties in my life.

Dr Akrong is a wonderful therapist. However the office staff and the office manager are very hard to work with and the professionalism of the billing department will be the downfall of this office. They could never supply the amount of out of pocket was needed, they were unfriendly and unprofessional, never willing to work with me on a payment plan even though they had my insurance and me paying them every month out of pocket. Finally they sent a discharge letter because I wouldn't provide a 2nd credit card for them to run every month with no explanation of charges. I have never had a doctors office work this way. Hopefully the reviews and the patients wellbeing will encourage this office to look for better office staff.
