I can’t thank Dr Lowe enough for all he did for me before , during, after my surgery. I had some severe issues going on and he was able to perform my surgery robotically. I am having such a good recovery and thanks to him and his team at the hospital I was taken care with the best care possible. I am blessed for the care I received and it truly is a life changer for me. He is an amazing surgeon and is very informative on getting to know you and understand what you need to heal your body. I highly recommend him and you will be in the best care! Thank you again Dr Lowe for everything you did to help me. I am truly blessed and a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Sending hugs to the whole team. Everyone in the office and everyone at the hospital what a great staff of people you have!

Dr. Lowe is understanding and caring and treats his patients with compassion. He acts with a sense of urgency and truly has his patients well-being in mind. He works with you not against you.

I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer Stage 3 over 6 years ago. I have the BRCA gene mutation, so my cancer has been recurrent. Dr. Lowe and Heather Gannon Stringer, as well as the entire staff,, have not only saved my life at least a handful of times, but have kept me motivated and fighting. This is like my second family - they are amazing doctors with skills that go above and beyond. Moreover, these doctors really listen and work tirelessly on my behalf. Thank you so much to the entire staff - doctors, nurses, receptionists, etc. You have made this a bearable disease for me to have and I plan to go 20 more years with your help! Yes, they are that good.

So glad my ob/gyn referred me to Dr Lowe. He is compassionate and factual. He made sure to answer all my questions both at his office and at the hospital before my surgery. Reading about his background Online helped me trust him even more. My insurance mistakenly told us that doctor was not in my plan but the office staff immediately investigated further and got the right information. And, office staff are EXTREMELY careful with special COVID-19 protocols to keep us safe. Highly recommend!!!

I am writing to thank Dr Lowe and his team for caring for my elderly mother in her 80's who recently had surgery for endometrial cancer during the Covid crisis here in Chicago. She had a total hysterectomy at Advocate a few weeks ago. Her surgery and recovery went very well. The nurses took great care of my Mom as well. She has recovered well and had no complications. Everything went as planned. Thankful for the excellent and compassionate care for my elderly mother.

We wondered why this Doctors good reviews we repeated so many times. Be careful of GCI as a practice. They did not have any proper Xray machines, they make statements that are not correct, they show great aggression if they don't like a question. We read about the other Doctors and found that the reviews are true. We did not feel that these were people you could trust. They appear desperate for money. Not sure who hired their office staff but WOW are they rude. How could any Dr. be proud to own this practice?

He is Chicago top robotic surgeon for Gyn Cancers. Over 1900 cases. He treats patients from all over Chicago, but mostly the southside where the care is needed the most. I’m a Jehovah Witness and he was the only surgeon who was comfortable with my case. I discovered he has been operating on Jehovah Witness pts for 13 yrs. He did surgery for my cancer and I’m doing very well. I’m very happy with the care Dr Lowe and his team provided.

Dr Lowe was great. His on call Dr. Guirguis was arrogant, rude, and gave us wrong and very bad fadvice. His back and front office staff is also very bad.

Dr Lowe and GCI are treating me for Stage III ovarian cancer. Dr Lowe did my surgery and manages my chemotherapy treatments as well. I could not be happier with the care they provide me at GCI. The nurses in the chemo suite are fantastic and have created a warm and caring environment for chemo treatments.

I live in the Chicago suburbs and was referred to Dr Lowe at the Gynecologic Cancer Institute of Chicago recently and was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. I had large tumor (25 cm) on my ovary and upper abdomen. I found Dr Lowe to be kind, smart, calm, very detailed and up to date on the latest ovary cancer treatments. He was the consensus recommendation from all of my physicians. My surgery lasted almost 4 hours and all of my cancer was removed without any complications . Now I'm on to chemotherapy. While recovering from my surgery, I saw a program that Dr Lowe participated in for WGN TV discussing ovary cancer and genetics while recovering from my surgery. I couldn’t believe my doctor was on TV. He is the best. Heather his PA is fantastic as well.
