Pretty sure Dr. Childs wants my elderly mother dead! Refuses to fill essential medication to live. Claiming it will take 72 hours? Are you kidding me, Rush needs to fire this doctor immediately!!!!
Seek another Doctor, he is the absolute worst.
Not sure how he still has a job at Rush he has been denying my elderly mom's medication for weeks now, Rush needs to investigate this "Doctor" .
He is not easily reachable!! We just started going to him and his staff is really unfriendly. It was our second visit and Dr. Child won’t even talk to you if your are in pain. The staff squeezed us in when I was pain and then cancelled the appointment cause I ran 10 minutes late when she knew I was in pain. Nurse won’t listen to you. We came to know he was in the office and he refused to see us while he was taking other patients. The office never calls back when you are in pain and the nurses won’t let you explain the pain and just keep on saying what they have to say. Really unfriendly office and doctor. Horrible answering service as you can’t reach anyone before 30 minutes. Really disappointed
I specifically told the doctor that I needed my medication to be pre authorized by my insurance. I went the next day and nurse did nothing. I wonder is he using his own medication. Doctors want money and say yes to every thing and do nothing. Answer that Doctor Childs.
Dr Childs did not read the results of an CT scan on our son. The CT scan showed cancer which killed our son. Use her m at your own risk.
Great doctor. Great personality.
I wanted to like this doctor based on many reviews I've read on him, but unfortunately he's not what everyone believes him to be. He's been my mother's PCP for a while now based on a referal from a neighbor of mine and although his bedside manner is one of the best I've seen, the quality of his care falls quite short. My mom is 76 years old and typically at this age there are many challenges. For my mom, this is no different. Dr. Childs had made a crucial mistake in not informing my mom of her decreasing labs in one area of her health which has resulted in something that is life changing on a day to day basis when it could have been preventative. At this age and being foreign, my mom is extremely vulnerable as are most seniors that aren't fully aware of medical terminology and that have a language barrier. I wish I could have been at my mom's visits to assist her, but unfortunately this isn't reality because I have a day job. Had I were, maybe the right questions could have been asked as well as some necessary prodding with regard to these lab results which may have lead to a more easier life for her. My advice to everyone who reads this, just because a doctor has good bedside manner and seems kind doesn't mean that your loved one is in good hands. Do your due diligence in your doctor search. Something I wish I did a better job of.
He is an awesome doctor. Very understanding and totally accurate. He really cares about his patients!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
