List of Endeavor Health Medical Group ? Oak Park's Reviews
I was told over the phone that I can do self paying if I don't have insurance. The day I went, I was denied service and was told it's the law that I can't do self pay, and insurance is the only thing they can accept because it's the "law." Big waste of my day and the biggest liars work here as well. I wouldn't bother going here at all.
I absolutely love my doctor. However there is very poor communication among staff. I was told one price for an out-of-pocket visit inside the office and billed something completely different later. I also called ahead to reschedule an appt due to flu symptoms. I was told that my doctor would still see me and I should come in anyway because he's booked until September. I drove 40mins to the appt just to get turned away and rescheduled for August. I was simply told "that's the phone staff" No acknowledgment or apology for their mistake. Please connect all staff on pricing and appt protocols. Its a waste of time for the patient.
I've put off seeing the doctor for 2 weeks with a health issue because they refuse to let me bring my kids. I don't have anyone to watch them. Probably going to stroke at home because they won't make an exception for people who have nobody. I don't have anybody and have no way of being seen because these people are not at all family friendly. I respect that covid is still an issue but if mask mandates can be lifted, you should be able to handle 2 masked children waiting quietly while mom gets her needed medical care. You guys are evil.
I called ahead, walked in 2 minutes after my appointment window because I had to pay to park and could not see Dr. Lynch. I stressed I just needed a medication refill and was turned down. If you want a doctor that will work with you this is not the place. Wonder why America’s healthcare system is joke. Reception was very nice though.
I started seeing Dr. Alison Sage in 2019 and immediately knew I wanted to start seeing her as my primary physician. She is professional and thorough every visit and ensures I am up to date on all my checkups, exams, etc. Dr. Sage also puts as much care into mental health as she does in physical health. Even though I typically see her for physical visits about a year apart she always asks about life events that we discussed the year prior (i.e. asking about a new job or relationship) which shows a level of care and attention. She is the most personable and approachable doctor I've had and makes me feel very comfortable to speak candidly about my physical and mental wellbeing. Regarding Edward Elmhurst Health in Oak Park as a facility I also speak very highly of them. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and professional, and every visit was punctual. Whether I had an appointment or utilized the walk-in immediate care clinic wait times were short which is one of my favorite things about this office. Their online portal is also easy to navigate and I've been able to request prescription refills easily with a quick response. I would rate this office and Dr. Sage a 10/5. I recently moved to the city and will be commuting to the suburbs so that I can continue to use Dr. Sage as my primary physician. Thank you Edward Elmhurst Health and Dr. Alison Sage for the amazing work that you do!
Love my Dr’s. - the Staff are GREAT! They helped me get through some BIG serious illnesses. Thanks Doc.
Very very bad experience. My doctor ordered me a lab there and I also scheduled from online system but when I go there, they just said there is no order and let me call the doctor. After I call the doctor office they confirmed order but they still let me just go home.. People are just rude, maybe she has a bad day, but this is still unpleasant to kick patient home.
I failed to pay my co-payment on my first visit after scrambling to find a new physician (my doctor left my whole family). I offered to pay it on my second visit but there was no easy way to pay for a past visit at the desk, so the receptionist said I would be billed. "ok" i said. That was many months ago. NOw, I have a COLLECTION LETTER over a $ 25.00 copay, that has been sitting in my demented mother-in-laws desk drawer (she pulled it out of the mailbox and took it- I work seeing COVID pts during the day). Now Im facing collections over a co-pay? Is that the rapport Elmhurst wishes to establish? I think that it is unnecessary to treat patients in a manner that raises their blood pressure. I think that the policies of Elmhurst Memorial (divulging my private name and number to an "affiliated" medical institution- DuPage), warning the caller on a Saturday afternoon that "due to high call volumes, we may have to close phone lines early" paint a picture of an institution that regards the patient as a ubiquitous resource (I'm speaking about the business office of course). The rabid efficiency of this healthcare system aggressively dictates my powerlessness in confronting the medical-legal complex. And IM NOT EVEN SICK. What about the people who are desperate? Where can people go to get healing and compassion, not financial microaggression? My complaints to administration though met with responses quick and sure, ended in a request that I talk to the "patient experience" representative if I have any more issues. To a healthcare professional who has seen a lot of hurt and pain, this euphemism for COMPLAINT Dept. smacks of insincerity and placation (I believe another reviewer, a nurse, referred to the feeling of "condescension"). So the follow up today is that I decided to bail and cancelled my appt with the wonderful Dr. Hutton. Would you believe they wouldn't even take my cancellation call unless I verified my insurance FIRST. I'm a healthcare provider for 30 years and I have a PhD in psych. Given the insults I've described, tell me what sane person is going to allow themselves to be treated like a cash vending machine?
Great staff and doctors. Ive been going there for about 10 years.
I've only been here once and from it being my first time I was treated good. The staff was very friendly. The facility from what I've seen is very clean and well kept up.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
