Horrible Long wait, more than an hour and they don’t cAre about your waiting at all. Why do they need to make appointment when they don’t stick to it. Office is old and not updated, sound scary , especially the X-ray room. Someone is coughing non stop in the waiting room, with poor ventilation, worry about catching COVid.

Dr. Replaced both knees about 15 years ago and my right hip 4 years ago Simply put he is the best from diagnoses to recovery Thanks doc for giving me new life and I have lost over 40 pounds because I have a active life Robert Schiavo

Have been involved for over 17 years for surgical and medical treatments. For all surgical procedures, I have always experienced a remarkably quick comeback. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Cavalenes at Westgate Orthopedics.

If you go to this doctor for surgery, he will inform you that you have to see Dr. Mary Kelly (who happens to be in the same office as he is) for pre - op testing. I DO NOT RECOMMEND her at all. She is very unprofessional, disrespectful and her communication regarding test results is nonexistent. I was continuously lied to saying that she will call me back. Needless to say, I never received my test results which resulted in my surgery being canceled and having to be rescheduled (with a different surgeon) over a month later. Thank goodness I did not have a life threatening illness or I probably would have died waiting for the results. I even contacted his office and didn't get any results from there either. Any surgeon who recommends a doctor like her for testing clearly does not have his patient at the top of his agenda. I highly recommend that you CHOOSE another doctor.

Dr. Cavalenes has been my doctor since the '90's when I was first diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel. Fast forward to March 2017 when I FINALLY had the surgery because of a really bad flare up. At the time during my healing I thought it would never heal, but it did! My right hand is just like new again. Now fast forward to November 6, 2017 Dr. Cavalenes did surgery on my right knee for a torn meniscus. Its still painful on some days, but it's healing! I am EXTREMELY satisfied and confident in him!

Dr. Cavalenes is very knowledgable and made me feel comfortable and at ease with my condition. I wouldn't trust anyone else to operate on my right hand. He took a look and knew exactly what was wrong. Surgery went great and i am improving wonderfully!

Doctors office denied receiving my insurance company's (a company with which they have a contract) referral even though I offered them the date and number of the referral and had confirmed with them by phone weeks before that they had it. the office staff was rude and frankly, if I would never let someone who kept a staff like that operate on me. I have filed a grievance with both my insurance company and Medicare.

Dr. Cavalenes is GREAT! He knew what was wrong before I had the MRI to confirm it. He is a seasoned professional who I trust to handle any orthopedic issues.
