This place has trash lazy therapists; but they're the only ones around that take my insurance.My therapist is always taking sick days/ vacation days.I hate to be an ass but after 6 months of half of which was cancelled by sick days and vacation days, I've had enough.I've been with these people on and off for about 5 years. Their interns are always leaving. I had one great therapist who really wanted to help with my attachment disorder and PTSD but after three months, she had to leave because she was an intern.The two front desk women are rude, incompetent, lazy and don't know anything and get appointments wrong or look at you like they don't know why you're there.

Thrive does not meet the basic minimum needs of this community and should be replaced. It’s awful.

Was going to be given a slot in case they had an opening. "But first, may I get your social security #?" The nerve.

Terrible place. I've been assigned 3 different psychiatrist over the last year, all of which met with me for no more that 30 minutes before "evaluating" and rushing me out the door. & recently I've had issues getting my medication refilled but no one there will return my call or help. Its been 3 weeks since I've been able to get my meds. This place should probably be closed down.

Would give one star but the therapist I found here was actually good and I stayed with her for years after she left this place and went out to make her own practice. Overall the customer service is why this place sucked so much for me. It was always a struggle to get refills on depression medication which is not something you can just stop taking for a gap period due to potentially becoming suicidal, etc. I also recall a time when I was 10 minutes late to an appointment (drove over an hour from the north side of the city during rush hour and attempted calling several times to let them know). When I arrived I was greeted with coldness and no understanding. I also needed to have that appointment in order to get a refill. They told me I had to reschedule as I was past the window for making the appt. When I got irritated with them and raised my voice slightly, they threatened to call the cops if I didn’t leave; mind you, at the time I was a non-threatening, crying, 5 foot tall, 23 year old girl. Do better with customer service when you work in mental healthcare. These are real lives you impact with your heartlessness and ignorance. Just Do Better.

If you care about someone who’s suffering from emotional or mental illness, please do whatever you can to keep them away from this place. They literally gaslight their patients by never responding to a single phone call or message. (Making you feel “crazy” for calling so much) But they don’t respond to messages. They ghost you!! I’ve been on the same rx for 20 years and never had an issue with getting it refilled… until recently (about 6 months ago) when staff at thrive retired for “political reasons”. Now, you or your loved ones can call 100 times a week and get NO response! No refill! Nothing! Crickets…

I'd give a zero if I could. Not only was the waitlist long, it wasn't worth it. These are the most unqualified, incompetent, unprofessional people around. They're not knowledgeable or resourceful and you'll leave disappointed wondering why you just wasted your time. My therapist Samantha Buhai-Jacobus was a joke, she's one of those that just nods and agrees and offers no real help or guidance. Also these people are a scam and will use any excuse to Bill you $50. My mom also goes here and her therapist has been out for months leaving her with no help during a time she needs it most and her Psychologist was extremely disrespectful, rude and caused her more anxiety and hopelessness. Thanks to thrive my ptsd and anxiety is worse. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go anywhere else unless you want to walk out of here needing more therapy just save yourself the energy and go somewhere else.

Worst experience trying to set up mental health care. Called and was told it would be a two month wait, two months pass by and I check in and they've added two more months to the wait. Strangely they had someone contact me after I told them I wasn't interested and proceeded to tell me I got it wrong and that I could continue to wait. I used to go here and moved away in that time it has gone downhill- for lack of a better term an absolute shit show. Don't bother, they don't really care.
