John R. Wilson's Online Review Report Card

Had my first seizure episode and was referred to Dr. Wilson by an ER physician. Dr. Wilson was contacted about my situation and ordered 'tell the scheduler that you are an ER follow-up for new seizure and you need to be seen this week per his orders' I called the office and Eva at the Melrose Park location was having trouble accepting these orders. I told her the situation and repeated Dr. Wilson's orders. Was told the next opening was in 3 months. A few calls later I was able to get an appointment in the next 3 days. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I was hung up on, called back and told "you were upset, so I ended the call.” I never got to see Dr. Wilson. I am not doubting his expertise, however staffing should be brought to his attention.

His lobby wait time may seem long, but you will understand why once it is your turn. He politely and professionally takes his time with his patients (I can only speak for me), to comprehensively address and treat my medical issue which I appreciate.

I've read all your reviews. And I'm quite confused Eva is in charge of it. If I leave one more voice message for Eva I will be at 20. Or dead. Dr Wilson your reviews say it all. She's horrible. Rude. She hide in a dark office. And ignores phone calls.I've stood at windows. For an awful Period of time ever u and by the time is my turn I get 6 minutes of silence

I am a patient who suffers from migraines. I call the office and leave messages, I do not know if the doctor gets them. I called again this week, and was told by the very rude Irma that a detailed message was left. When i called today I was hung up on several times by Eva, and this is not the first time, I have mentioned this before. I came to get my medication and I spoke to Christina who left me the message, I played it for her, I said that it was not detailed. She explained that she left the message to call, she would never leave a message regarding a medication or a balance, which i can respect. While i was at the door with her, I could hear someone swearing and talking about football the whole time. Honestly Dr Wilson, your great but why is this office manager still even employed. Seems to me all your complaints are about her.

I have been calling the office for weeks about my sleep results. The person that handles that isn't the doctor. Whoever she is the worst person I have ever dealt with. Message after message. She still hasn't call me back. Dr Wilson your going to have lawsuits on your hands with this idiot. Spoke to her once. She put me on what she thought was hold and I heard her scolding what sounded like a family member. She came back to my call and I questioned what was happening and she said that I must have misheard and put me on hold again. 7 minutes later the call dropped. I will NOT be back. Good luck.

I have not come in to see Dr yet. I spoke to Ava when I called. She put me on hold 5 times. When I asked her name she yelled it. Then told me that she was the one "who runs the practice". She thought she had me on hold. Well she didn't. I heard her say "I can't deal with this I'm transferring the b****. The girl that picked up had to ask all the same questions. When I asked why she switched me to her instead she said that she wasn't sure. I didn't want to tell her what I heard. But I will still come in for my aapt. And let the Dr know.

I waited 3 months for my results. Everytime I called I was told eva was on phone or left. Or put on hold for 20 minutes to be disconnected. I called Dr several times. He did nothing. I came here to see that this seems to be how he runs his practice..won't be long before they have lawsuits on their conscience..You make people feel like they could die from sleep problems. But you have a person that avoids set up and results and is so vicious when you finally do talk to her? Honestly..one of my worse experience in life..

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilson's for the past 3 years. I came to him in desperation as I was experiencing unrelenting facial pain that no previous doctors could seem to diagnose or make sense of. Yes, you will likely wait a long time in his waiting room - well past your scheduled appointment time. Trust me when I say, he is well worth the wait. He is the most genuine, concerned, and sincere doctor I have ever encountered. He gave me hope when I felt there was none left. Outstanding!

I won't go back. I had waited quite some time for my visit. I was warned so that was expected. I cannot even believe the way I heard the secretaries being spoke to. I noticed whomever it was that was belittling the staff was in a dark office. I found a great doctor but as far as the dark office goes I was embarrassed that I heard that.

Come prepared with something to do. I've never waited less than an hour. Last time was a two hour wait to spend ten minutes with the Doctor.
