Just wondering if the surgery room is as dirty and disgusting as the rest of this building, the carpets are all stained from water and whatever else, the doors & elevator entrance are all scuffed up and blackened, the chairs in the waiting rooms are dirty & stained, what is the protocol for a sanitary environment ? Because you would be hard pressed to get a clean bill of health in this environment, more akin to a butcher shop with blood stained floors, quite disgusting actually !!

If you need to get surgery this is the place to go. The nurses are awesome! They really care about the patients and they take time to explain everything.

This morning I had to take my dad for a surgery, and we went to Loyola Ambulatory Surgery center. Let me begin by stating that I was tired since I am not a morning person at all, and when we walked in I was pleasantly surprised of how spacious the waiting area was. I brought a book with me because I wasn't sure how it would be in the waiting room, and I was pretty happy to see that there was a television on the corner wall and GMA was on. They have a little coffee bar next to the reception desk which is nice especially if you did not have time to grab a coffee beforehand. The staff was great at giving me updates throughout my dad's surgery and "recovery" period afterward. I was able to meet the Doctor who performed the surgery and they let me see my dad right after he woke up which was great. The staff is was just a 10/10 of how they handled family members at the center.
