Matthew B Smith's Online Review Report Card

I came to his “care” in an emergency situation where my blood levels were considered critical. He lacks any professionalism with patient care. He released me from the hospital only to have me pass out in the parking lot and be immediately return to the ER. Also while I was critical, he could not be reached because it was Fathers Day! Hopefully he is a better father than a doctor. I was transferred out of his hospital ,which saved my life , which he tried to block. We contacted an administrator of the hospital after I recovered and she wrote us back agreeing that our care was not handled well. If I could give his rating -5 stars I would.

Doctor Matt does absolutely amazing work! He’s amazing in every area of dentistry but when it comes to cosmetics he’s just the best. The smile transformation he did for my mom has given her confidence I’ve never seen before. We live all the way in Chicago and there was no question of whether or not he would be the person for the job. If you’re trying to decide on whether to get your dental work done here or not you absolutely should. You would not be disappointed in his work.

The employees are very professional efficient and hard working. 10/10 definitely recommend.

I saw the doctor today. He was professional, timely, and personable. He answered all my medical questions, but most of all made me feel so comfortable and reassured me everything will be ok. I'm forever grateful.

I love my doctor. I can see in his eyes that he cares. He is thorough, listens, and is friendly. He does not rush you!

Dr. Smith, his anesthesiologist and both staffs were excellent. They explained all well and were willing to adjust the anesthesia for me based on past experience. Dr. Smith was friendly, did his homework on my past procedures and was informative after the procedure. I would highly recommend him and his facility in Oakbrook Terrace.

Rude! Will not be returning to see him. Usually doctors walk in the room and ask how are you or what brings you in. (At least pretend to care) not this one! Seems bothered having to deal with you. He walked in and said what’s wrong now, why are you here to see me. Which might not seem like something bad, but it’s all in the tone used. Then we’re sitting there explaining to him a concern over a medication and his response was... that’s bull****

My experience with Dr. Smith is nothing short of positive. He makes the patient feel that he is there for you, and is excellent at explaining and answering ANY question that may come up. I would recommend him 100%.

No matter how sick I am, or how badly I feel, when Dr. Smith enters my room, I feel better already. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and he's compassionate, a rare combination in a Doctor. I can't speak too highly of him.
