List of Rafi Ali's Reviews
Dr. Ali was super nice. However he won’t help me with a chronic issue I now have post gastroschisis correction when I was born. I did everything he recommended and still no answers as to why I can’t eat solid foods with being in extreme pain and or vomiting. I asked for him to reach out through his network to find docs familiar with GS survivors, he flat out told me, no. I asked for alternative imaging since MRI does not show anything on a person with mal-rotation and he is again refusing and not even calling me back. I’ve had 20ish MRI’s with contrast and they can’t see anything do to malrotation. He is the 4th GI doc I’ve seen that literally offers no help just tells me to continue taking OTC laxatives. Something is seriously wrong with my GI tract, I believe gastroparesis based on my history and what GS survivors later complications can be. He refuses to order a gastric emptying study or a colonoscopy or any other type of imaging. He seems indifferent to my suffering. All in a quiet voice with a kind face. I want to like this doctor but he seems just like the other GI docs I’ve seen. He doesn’t listen to my concerns and really had no knew ideas. Hence, still no relief.
He was super unhelpful. Basically told me to do what I’m already doing and offered no help. He now keeps trying to push me off onto other doctors that I am already seeing. He told me to take a medication that is contradicted for my disease history and will basically make my gut health worse. While he was nice when I saw him (less than a month ago) he wasn’t helpful and now to give me any recommendations wants me to come a second time. Even though he still hasn’t helped me. I will not be seeing him again. He would not even help me find a GI doc that is familiar with gastroschisis survivors issues. He has been a waste of my money and time.
Dr All is a great doctor. Very intelligent. He diagnosed me before an MRI. I will always be his patient
Dr Ali was excellent. He was thorough in his questioning, he gave explanations, didn’t rush and clearly knew his stuff.
It's not just how much business he can get. Dr. Ali is concerned about his patients from the time you first meet him to the day up to and during your procedure.
Dr. Ali set up an emergency endoscopy for me the same day. He couldn't have been more compassionate with my. He had a very bust schedule and still set up. Kudos for him. Ray Durham
Kindness dude ever
Dr. Ali is a thoughtful and caring provider. He is an understanding listener who takes time to insure he addresses all concerns and, when possible, tries to provide more than one potential solution to the issue(s) at hand. It's apparent he spends significant time reviewing patients' medical history as he is able to recall relevant issues from past medical problems. He is approachable, friendly, and when appropriate, lightens situations with thoughtful humor. He is the best GI doctor I've had.
I have been Dr. Ali's client for over 10 years. Dr. Ali's bedside manners are amazing. He will take time to explain and even google pictures to ensure that I have full understanding of the issue. When I have a procedure the nurses are happy to see him, which tells me that his excellent attitude is also the approach he has with others he works with. Cannot recommend him more highly!
Compassionate, takes his time, puts you at ease, explains everything thoroughly. He came highly recommended from a friend, and I would highly recommend him to friends and family members as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
