The service at Loyola has gone down. First of all they don't have a followup or reminder to patients to get their blood work done r about the appointment, and even if you get it done the blood test before doctors visit, they do not make sure they have the results before seeing the doctor. I had my blood test almost two weeks before and they said they did not have the results in. After waiting for almost an hour the doctor saw me and could not offer anything since she did not have the results. It was a complete waste of my time. I was asked to find out from Quest myself and get the results and send it to them. I did that, and then waited for 3 days to get my dose changed after having to call the Triage nurse to let the doctor know. This is all about cramming as many patients by Loyola and the doctors with no regard or care for the actual patient.

Check in is very smooth, waiting area not crowded and clean. I’m always very happy to visit Dr. Mendoza, she takes as much time as I need to answer all questions, great and happy personality, and is very attentive to my issues.

You never have to wait very long, unlike many doctor visits. She is very kind, and takes the time to make sure you understand everything she says. She never "talks down" to you, and is compassionate to your concerns.
