Dr King is a wonderful Dr with a wonderful personality. He makes you feel comfortable and is so easy to talk to. He explained things today that I never knew could even be a possibility with me! He gave me 4 shots in my jaw and was extremely gentle. I can’t say enough good about him. Highly recommend!

I would definitely recommend Dr. Timothy King to any and all persons in need of surgery. In fact, my mother needs to have surgery soon and I will make sure that her primary care physician refers her to Dr. King. He is kind, understanding and actually takes the time to listen to patient concerns and wishes.

Had a Vagus nerve stimulation device installed. Very caring and knowledgeable about the device. Answering all my questions and helped thru the process of getting it adjusted to the new shock level.

Met him and his staff yesterday at Mercy One in Clinton, Ia. Felt at ease right away with his nurse, very good conversation meeting Dr King and his student asst. explaining the thyroid biopsy. Feeling confident I found a great team!

Don't trust the bad "reviews" here. Whoever left six 1 star reviews did not write any details. I call BS. Speaking for myself, I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. King. I appreciated his style during the initial consultation, in which he clearly laid out various considerations and provided me with a detailed set of expectations. I was trepidatious about the procedure and was concerned about recovery. He assured me that he would use techniques to minimize damage and maximize recovery speed. Two weeks after the surgery and I am almost completely back to normal. His entire staff are courteous and responsive. Eileen in particular really went out of her way to help me through the insurance maze. Big thumbs up!!

Dr. King recently performed a significant abdominal surgery on me. From the initial consultation to the post-operative visit (on a Saturday), I felt that I was in very capable hands. He was very clear in his explanation of the procedure and made himself available to answer any questions I had. He and his entire team were very professional and highly focused on my care and comfort. The treatment I received under Dr. King's care led to a highly successful surgical outcome, and I would immediately seek to secure his services again, should I ever need another procedure within his area of expertise.

iowa city hospitals and clinics said she had a headache. what she really had was tmj. one appointment with dr. king and she got first relief in 5 weeks . great job.
