Affiliated Oncologists - Orland Park's Online Review Report Card

The people who draw the blood saw it as a joke to give me an appointment at 10:30am on a Saturday. I showed up and no one was there. Building was closed.

The front line staff’s customer service leave much to be desired. They never answer the phone and very rarely return a phone call in a timely manner. When asked to have someone in the medical office (nurse, PA, doctor) return a call, I don’t believe the message is passed on appropriately. I always have to call back at least once, and sometimes twice it get a response from the medical staff. When asking front line staff questions, their answers are short and snappy, as if you are inconveniencing them by asking. I was told to call the office to discuss further, but who would I talk to? The phone staff don’t want to hear it, and in fact, once hung up on me. If it was not for the doctors and nurses, I would go elsewhere.

The medical care is great, the people here that work in phlebotomy and at the front desks are absolutely horrid. It really makes coming here a dreadful experience. I know peoples attitude I have complained about numerous times by numerous patients and their family members. Not everyone should be in healthcare, and most of these employees don’t even deserve to sit at a desk of a medical facility. I sincerely hope they get talked to before someone else sets them straight and embarrasses them.

The customer service from the staff here is unbelievable. You are dealing with sick people and they make you feel degraded. My mother turns in paper work and they lose it. How do you lose paper work and then give a patient attitude about it?

new building is awesome. they run things so efficiently. get you in the room quickly. really nice nurses & my specific doctor that I have is really caring.

My mother started chemo and nursing staff for chemo is great. The other side of the office horrible. There was one nurse with attitude and office hours shows open until 5pm on Friday we called by 3:30. The office is closed until Monday horrible because they forgot to send my mom prescription in so now she has to suffer more this weekend due to forgetfulness on prescription and closing earlier than what is closing time.

Great new facility for Affiliated. Great improvement over the old Palos location. Side note, the staff, Nurse Practioners & Docs here are all PHENOMENAL... I'm a very long time patient (almost 20 years they've kept me alive!!). I've recommended friends & family here so that says a lot. Everyone from sign-in to sign-out are all helpful & friendly...
