List of Garrett C Davis's Reviews
5 weeks post op of my total hip replacement and feeling great about my recovery and in choosing Dr. Davis. Had been putting my THR off for years but this ski season the pain was unbearable. Dr. Davis is a consummate professional. He took his time in the evaluation - never once rushed - was thorough in options and his recommendation. On the day of surgery he put me at completely at ease. His PA Kevin is equally outstanding along with the entire Intermountain Park City Hospital staff. Am back at the gym, taking long walks, traveling and… pain free! Would highly recommend Dr. Davis to anyone considering the same. Complete game changer and so looking forward to next ski season!
Not only was the knee surgery Dr. Davis performed done expertly, but his caring manner put me entirely at ease. He followed up in the hospital several times, and then again while I was recuperating at home and in further office visits.
I am extremely grateful for Dr.Davis and his team. He is the most amazing kind thorough surgeon ever💜💜
Awesome Dr! Keeps me walking!! Best Dr ever!! Other Dr’s wouldn’t touch me but Dr Davis did what needed to be done to rid my pain and disabilities with both ankles!
Garrett and his entire staff are amazing. They genuinely care about their patients. We went in for a second opinion and he ended up giving effective options that prevented a very invasive surgery for our teenage daughter. Thanks for everything, Dr. Davis and your awesome staff!
A freak accident while skiing caused a massive fracture of my tibia and fibula in Utah. By sheer luck, Dr. Garrett Davis appeared at my bedside and offered recommendations about how to fix all those broken bones. It's an incredible thing when a physician is both technically proficient and an excellent clinician. At a time when some surgeons like to do surgery but not follow the long road to recovery, Dr. Davis does both, with skill and humanity. Surgery is objective and discrete. The follow up is not, since the physician doesn't know everything going on underneath the skin in the foot. That involves intuiting and judgment. The surgery itself is called open reduction internal fixation (ORIF) means opening up my leg and putting the bones back together with plates and screws. I learned from another doctor that Dr. Davis's work was "like artwork" and that my bones were in perfect alignment. I came home knowing that he had put me back together in a way that could lead to a complete recovery. As a 66 year old man with a massive fracture, the recovery is slow but sure. But the xrays don't show much bone healing. My right foot and shin told me I was getting better, but there was a fear of significant weight bearing. Enter Dr. Davis's follow up, with him in Utah and I in Texas. He counseled patience and gradual increase in weight bearing, taking care not to advance too fast. Every time a new xray would show little healing, he counseled patience. Others may have recommended more surgery and bone grafting, but he, as we would want in any clinician, counseled the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" view. I am now moved past the wheelchair, walker, two crutches and one crutch phase and now am moving, albeit slowly, to a full recovery. I will always remember the proficient surgery and the equally proficient clinical follow up. There are many ways the train could fall off the tracks with a patient like me, but he skillfully has guided me toward the finish line.
Had a great experience with Dr Davis. He did a total knee replacement in the Heber Hospital. I was able to get up and start walking with very little pain. Dr Davis talked to me about my surgery and explained everything to where I could understand what he did. Now 3 weeks later I’m up walking and have full extension, 110 degree bend and I’m on my way to a great recovery. Would totally recommend Dr. Garrett Davis. Also my stay at the Heber Hospital was amazing, great nurses and staff. Food was great too😊
Dr. Davis is awesome! I am 10 weeks since surgery and have a 130 degree bend with lots of hardwork. I am looking forward to getting back to skiing with no pain. I would recommend him highly.
Things are going very well
Had Total Knee Replacement. Would Not do it again. Knee is worse than before.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
