Successful surgery performed!!
Dr Gandhi is great the person that works on the referrals and contacting patience not so muche. I have been waiting for my referral to be approved I was there June 5th. I got tired of waiting so I called the insurance 2wks ago and again today still no request has been sent in. I would hate to get a new Dr because his staff can't get their act together.
Bad experience My appointment was at 9 am, so I arrived at 8:45, the doors were locked and office staff were waiting in the hall until the staff member with the keys arrived. I sat in the office for 45 minutes before they called me back. Then I sat for over 20 minutes waiting for the doctor. He spent about 10 minutes with me, left the room and then came back 10 minutes later. He explained a couple of things to me then left. The next morning I went online to look up the notes and it was very clear that these were not from my visit. I called the office and read them some of the notes and they said they would have the doctor call me. Later in the day he did, when asked what was wrong I told him and proceeded to read what it said he wrote and he said I did discuss that with you, when I told him he didn’t and continued to read the rest he was rude, and even said at one point he wasn’t going to get paid for even half of what he did anyway. Would not go back to this doctor!
Went to this doctor for the first time and wasn’t happy with the way he had no bed side manner, was rude and treated me like what I was going through didn’t matter, all he cared about was sticking it to my insurance, and he did so by sending me a bill with charges he didn’t even do , like a insert bladder catheter and a urine micro, all lies, all I did was pee in a cup and that’s it, so why am I being charged for things I didn’t get, and why he charge my insurance $774.05 and me $275 for urinating in a cup, I’m pissed
Waited and waited never saw the doctor I had an appointment at 10:30 AM. I arrived T 10:15AM in case there was more paperwork needed. I was put in an exam room by around 10:40. By noon I was still waiting. No one came to tell me the doctor was late or anything else. I left at noon, having another appointment at 1PM on the other side of town. No one asked what was wrong or why I was leaving. I will find another doctor.
I had a very unpleasant experience during my visit late December 2023. I found Dr. Gandhi Sanjay to be very dismissive and rude. I was referred to this office from my primary doctor. I was transparent with the staff prior to my consultation with the doctor that I wanted to refrain from scheduling appointments as a series of follow up because my insurance would consider my visit a “specialist visit”, thus charging $70 each visit. I said this kindly as something to take into consideration. Not to be cheap and dismiss any advice for treatment given. The appointment was to address the main issue and consider what the office recommends later in the next year. It seems the doctor took that and threw out any empathy or concern, and proceeded to talk to me as if my presence was a bother. At one point with 2 other attendants in the room he asked I “show him what I was talking about”, asking I stand up, insert my fingers “up there” (while in front of them in my paper gown) and feel for the issue that he claims he didn’t see. Appointment was done and over with within 10 minutes (a fraction of the time it took to complete the enormous amount to pre-appointment paperwork) no answers - $70 less. I later received a bill from Quest Diagnostics for a 2 part urinalysis from the sample I provided at the beginning of my appointment. I was never told from any of the staff what it was for, what they would be checking, and they certainly didn’t mention I would be billed separately. I don’t even know how to go about checking the “results” because no follow up or discussion at all pertaining to it was provided. I absolutely do not recommend this practice.
Doctor does not have professional office staff, does not have a billing department. good luck trying to get a refund if you over paid they avoid your calls and come up with excuses why you cannot talk to the person who handles billing.
The office staff is not nice!! I have not been feeling well for a few weeks now. I called and had an appointment set up that day. I am so very grateful for them getting me an appointment that same day! I had a prescription that was having issues being sent to the pharmacy. I called twice to have it resent. When I asked if they could verbally call it in, the girl on the phone says to me "We're a high-volume-call patient office & we don't have time to sit on the phone on hold for you. We're in Woodstock tomorrow, you can just come pickup a written script then or have the Pharmacy call us." -- Just wow. I felt pretty offended. I ended up calling the Pharmacy back to see if they could call the office for me because I was feeling desperate & the girl says that the script was just faxed to them. IDK who is telling the truth, but the way I was spoken to on the phone from the office was not appreciated. I have a similar kind of job as you, and I would NEVER speak to anyone like that.
He gave me nitrofurantoin for 5 months and gave me. Pulmonary fibrosis with emphysema to begin with
I cannot say enough about Dr. Gandhi and his staff. While other doctors and hospitals stopped doing "elective surgeries," in anticipation of a second shutdown, Doc & his staff found a hospital that would accommodate his patients and their needs. The care and compassion he has shown over the past 5 months has been amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Gandhi ?

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
