Dr. Sak is awesome. He has a great bedside manner and is very helpful and kind.
I have gone to Dr.. Saks for many years and trust him. But enough is enough, I walked out today, after waiting for an hour after dilation. Every appointment has been the same. He said: "Doing my best." How about not over scheduling? I was not the only one in the office today frustrated.
Great doctor. Explained his plan clearly. Very confident in Dr. Saks.
The office had a factory feeling. Dr Saks is pleasant and knowledgeable. His staff was less than friendly.
Had an appointment rescheduled by his staff only to have him show up for work 45 minutes after the apointment time. He tried to have another provider order a medication rather than doing it himself, never changed his gloves in the almost hour he spent with me. Finally walked out.
I needed reconstructive surgery after my lower eyelid was removed due to skin cancer. Dr. Saks did a great job. I have had many physicians comment on the excellent job he did. I never had a problem with the staff. I didn't mind waiting because not many surgeons are trained in his specialty. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Noel Saks is an excellent surgeon! He was very professional, respectful, informative and friendly. His staff was warm, efficient and accommodating. I'm so happy with the results of the Blefaroplasty procedure! I am very satisfied and I thank everyone! When I look in the mirror I always give myself a sly smile. The bags are gone. I see me instead of them - Maria S.
Dr. Saks is a good surgeon. My biggest complaint is that questions were never answered directly.
Terrible staff and not satisfied with the surgery. Calling them is more than a joke, and you never get an answer. My suggestion would be to find another service.
No Thank you , to this pompous Dr The waiting time is ridiculous - you wait In the waiting room - only to wait again in his office !! When he finally did come in , there was 0 pleasantries!! No introduction, No handshake! NOTHING ! & That is pretty much how the remaining time with him was - Big 0 I asked a question & he made me feel as though I was a bother ! Apparently it wasn’t just a feeling either it was quite obvious he doesn’t like to be questioned - he could not have been more abrupt & vague w his response Honestly - I couldn’t wait to exit !! Lengthy wait time , Abruptness , Vagueness & Arrogance !! are certainly not qualities that I search for when choosing a Dr.
I find Dr. Saks to be a caring doctor. He takes time to explain things to me and answers all of my questions in a straight forward matter without a lot of fluff. I have had no issues with making appointments, talking with staff or being seen relatively close to on time, if not on time. Of the half dozen or so of the doctors I see on a regular basis, he is one of the better ones.
I had no problem with Dr. Saks-other than I wanted an estimate for my procedure if Medicare didn’t cover it, but he didn’t give me an estimate. I DID have a problem with the front desk staff: As a new patient, I received 5 pages of medical history to fill out. Mailed them in 3 weeks ago (Dec 17, 2018 to the HOFFMAN ESTATES address!) but the front desk apparently couldn’t find them-very concerning and off-putting to say the least! Then, they forgot to give me a receipt for my $40 cash co-pay!!!
I waited for 30 minutes and still they wanted me to wait long I am a businessman, left my business meeting to get to dr saak office on my 3.20 appointment It was very disappointing, Dr Saak need to understand that we too work also
Dr. Saks is a wonderful Occuloplastic Surgeon who has cared for my wife for many years. We have the utmost confidence in him and highly recommend.
Dr Saks performed surgery on both eyes for ptsosis of the eyelids. This is a condition when the eye lids are drooping and it becomes difficult to see. It was a complete failure and resulted in my eyelashes covering a good part of my eye. He said Medicare would pay for surgery on only one eye, and I had to pay for the other eye., which I did. When I got my medicare statement, He charged Medicare for both eyes. Today my vision is still blurred.
The office is poorly managed. Wait times vary between 2 and 4 hours. The staff is harried and stressed. Dr. Saks is brusque and dismissive, likely because he is seeing several patients at the same time. You can see him walking back and forth between appointments, but he won't meet your eye or even say "just a few more minutes." I cannot speak to his expertise as he was unable to find the pre-identified issue that generated the referral to a specialist.
This office does not run on time. I saw Sr Saks twice and he dismissed my concerns, when I had obvious problems. I would not recommend for cosmetic surgery
If you like waiting a hour or more past your appointment time this is the dr for you! After waiting that long he is short and runs out the door as soon as he can!
Every thing was great. Dr. Saks is a great doctor. A year ago I had my eyelids lifted. I can see everything so well I leave my glasses off a lot. I have a true panoramic view of everything. Before my eyes lids came down over half of my eye. Also, very little pain. Thank you Dr. Saks!!!!
Scheduling was handled poorly by staff. Had wrong name on surgery appointment. And took 30 minutes to rectify. Someone needs to address this situation before a surgery mistake is made.
