Best Doctor !
Liked him, but the wait time was way too long. I was there like one and half hours before he saw me. The folks in his office and on the phone to make the appointment, are very abrupt personality wise. Lastly, I made the appointment expecting to pay my co-pay for a specialist/doctor visit. Was I shocked when I got a bill from the Hospital for outpatient. I called them and my insurance and they can bill it this way. I should have been advised when I made the appointment that this is not considered a Dr. or Specialist visit but an outpatient Hospital visit and that you will also receive a bill from the Hospital. Won't be going back.
Dr. Adanin is a good man & good doctor w/ a good demeanor. His assist. staff SUCKS. They IGNORED my calls for A MONTH w/ ZERO narcotic refills after surgery INCREASING pain & withdrawl. Someone wrote “his receptionist is a genuinely mean person”. She’s 100% spot on!! The front desk couldn’t be worse if Satan & his assistants were up there. To be fair, partner Dr. Craig Malk is also a fantastic man & doctor. I expressed to him very respectfully that he & Dr. Simon were being MISREPRESENTED by their staff. Drs. Malk & Adanin have both been made aware of their staffing problems by COUNTLESS people, but NOTHING changes. In fact, Dr. Malk even made excuses for them, saying “every business is imperfect & we do what we can”. Well, that isn’t true! You CAN replace them w/ people who respect your practice & your patients & understand that of EVERY MEDICAL PROFESSION THAT EXISTS, NONE requires as much compassion as theirs; the one that treats people who LIVE DAILY WITH DEBILITATING CHRONIC PAIN.
Dr. Adanin is always kind, patient, never rushed and truly cares about helping you manage your pain. His nurses are amazing and always so quick to reply to calls. And the receptionist staff does a terrific job helping patients on the front end.
Who wouldn’t want a doctor that gets rid of your pain. Dr Adanin is the most soft spoken, kind and gentle pain doctor I have ever had. He is a true professional that makes you feel calm even when your a 10 in pain.I have had spinal epidurals where I was in so much pain I wanted curl up in a ball. I have herniated discs in both my neck and lower back, I’m a mess but after Dr Adanin does the epidural it is like I am alive again. He is amazing!
Very kind, helpful and caring. Sometimes takes time to get in as he is very busy. Would highly suggest.
I had a L5/S1 herniated disc. When I tried to call to make an appointment there was no answer, you need to leave a message. I waited over two hours for a call back. When I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Adanin, I was told the first available was over a month away! Then she told me my workman’s comp sent the approval for an injection not a consult. I asked them if they could please call them and have it switched. She informed me “It’s not my job. You need to do it!” I called me neuro doc back for another referral for Dr. Marsiglia in Arlington Heights. When I called them they took my information and told me that they would handle everything and call me back. I had an appointment within two days.
I love Dr Adanin but it's impossible to reach him with questions. This needs to be corrected! I called the office yesterday with a question following what I hope was a successful surgery, and no one called me back. Not good
Dr. Adanin was my anesthesiologist for labor. He is one of the rudest, most incompetent people I know. I would never recommend him or his hospital to anyone. His demeanor was poor, and skill was worse. I cannot believe he is allowed to practice in Chicago. Please be careful!
Great doctor. He explained everything & the shot was very helpful. I called & left a message, needing to know about medication & it took 2 days for a call back. Terrible answering machine. The excuse the secretary gave is that are very busy😫

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
