Dr.Akeson assisted me with a problem that had been causing pain in back of left knee. I had seen three others - 2 doctors and NP and no one really helped. I had mod to severe pain for a month prior and no help- of course no pain control. He attended to an already planned procedure then examined a recent MMR which he had not ordered, examined my leg and diagnosed. Did a minor procedure which was on back of knee vs front which he was treating. I am relieved due to help.

I feel so fortunate to have had Dr Akeson available for my recent knee replement. Preop he explained the procedure and was prepared to answer any of my questions and concerns. Postop he Once again explained my xrays and examined my knee and discussed changes in needs postoperative Such a talented kind gentle doc. I'd recommend him with out qyestion.. Thanks DrAkeson

Had a great experience with Dr Akeson. He is very compassionate with a wonderful bedside manner. He is also an amazing surgeon and did a great job stabilizing my right hip when it was about to fracture from a cancerous lesion in the neck of the femur! I absolutely would recommend him without a second thought and will continue to work with him in the future as I may need.

Dr Akeson has been a God send for me. He has replaced both my hips and I have had no problems and I'm back riding my horses.

Dr Akeson has done both of my daughter's hip reconstructions and most recently spinal fusion and I cannot say enough about how amazing he is with my daughter's care!
