My son came to Kindred 2 months ago. He had very little movement. He is responding to us and moving his ands and legs! I think coming here was the best decision I made for him. All of his nurses have been caring, CNA’s -Goldie and Alexa also. All the staff was great and they work as a team. Everyone shined!! Physical therapy and the respiratory team was excellent! Michelle was great at checking up on us, Tamara made sure I was ok coming in to visit. They have been working hard with me to find places for him to continue improving. He is ready for his next step!

Great staff, very attentive! I arrived in very poor condition. Kindred has helped me improve greatly! The Respiratory team has gotten me off the vent and today my trach was removed!!

Before I arrived at Kindred I was uncertain about what this hospital is and scared because I didn't know what to expect. As soon as I arrived I knew everything would be all right. The team was ready for me and very welcoming. They explained what would be happening directly to me and not talking around me. They began working on my respiratory progress immediately. I have been treated for serious respiratory issues over the last 20 years ago this has been the most in depth treatment I've received. The whole staff, from EVS to doctors have been great!!

I went into Kindred in bad shape. They got me off of the trach and back standing on my feet. The only criticisms that I can think of is getting the nurse call light answered at night seems slow and the nursing staff seems stretched thin at times. Special thanks to Dr Ahmad, Michelle the patient advocate, Teresa the case manager, Robin in RT, the entire PT and OT staff and RN Kaylee.

Amber an RN and Michelle a CNA have gone above and beyond to make me feel cared for and not a burden. I am very grateful to Kindred for allowing my children to come in for a surprise visit. I hadn’t seen them since Christmas and that meant the world to me!

The respiratory team here has been awesome! The communication is great. They explain things very well and make sure I understand what's going on. The nursing staff has also been wonderful. Everyone has been very nice.

My husband was transferred to Kindred in Peoria for transitional care after ICU. I have been very satisfied with their treatment so far in their efforts to wean him off the ventilator and improve his health and strength. The staff are very kind and genuine. It is a smaller facility than the big hospitals, but I was amazed at the level of care they are able to provide and the knowledge, skill and experience of the staff. I would highly recommend this place if given the option and opportunity to choose it.

Excellent care from the day I arrived! Trach was removed, doctors were attentive, very happy!!Now I’m getting help getting stronger and starting to eat. Overall this has been a good experience!
