Dr. Pocket is phenomenal. Great work. Clear instructions and available to the patient for questions.
Service is all kinda of messed up, she has such an attitude for no reason when talking. No bedside manners at all. Such a horrible surgeon.
I would select a zero if possible. Doesn’t treat you as a human being. Belittles you, has an attitude and isn’t genuinely concerned about one’s concerns. Felt as a number and not a patient. Do not recommend.
I have had many experiences with surgeons. They never spend much time with you as they are busy, but Dr. Plocher took the time to talk to me and answer my questions. She is very straight forward and will tell you if you are doing something that is going to affect your health overall. I appreciate that in a healthcare professional. My first carpal tunnel surgery is done and looking forward to the second!
Honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with healthcare by far, for a few different reasons. I felt that Dr. Elizabeth was very inconsiderate and showed me little respect as a human being. She had a bad attitude upon entering the room and speaking with me, she belittled me and downplayed my injury and acted as if I was lying about my pain. As well as offering little to no explanation or any answers to my questions. For a little bit of backstory I crushed my hand at work and went to an OSF OnCall Urgent Care, where x-rays were taken showing I had a break in my hand, (very painful) she argued that she wasn’t even sure it was a break displayed in my x-ray when there clearly was, the physicians at OSF on-call referred me to her for that reason. She talked to me for a very short time and was in and out as fast as possible. I understand healthcare professionals are very busy at this time but I felt very offended that she seem to “not have time for me”. On the contrary the nurses in the facility were very kind and respectful. The entire experience was great until I met her. I am now seeking a different orthopedic doctor to carry out the rest of my care because I will never be seeing her again when it comes to my health. 0% chance I will be recommending her to any friends or family. I can only hope others will read this review and go somewhere they will be taken seriously and properly cared for. This was a disgusting display of mistreatment and I hope that her superiors will see this and she will face consequences! -Brody Jenkins
WORST SURGEON EVER!!!! TREATED MY DAUGHTER LIKE SHE WAS CRAZY AND OUT OF PAIN MEDS... AND THE DAY OF SURGERY WENT IN AND TOLD HER THAT EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS DOING THE SURGERY SHE WOULD NEVER USE HER HAND AGAIN!!!! WHAT KIND OF SURGEON DOES THAT !!!° AND NOW AFTER ITS ALL SAID AND DONE SHE HAS STOPPED MY DAUGHTERS THEROPY BECAUSE SHE WENT AGAINST HER SAY SO AND TRANSFORED TO A THERAPIST CLOSER TO HOME... HOW DO OSF CONTINUE TO EMPLOY SUCH A HORRIBLE PERSON LIKE HER IS BESIDE ME !!!! DO THEY NOT SEE ALL THESE HORRIBLE REVIEWS, SHE IS NOT A VERY GOOD PERSON PERIOD !!!!! WE WILL BE SEEKING FURTHER LEGAL ACTION, THIS HERE IS UNETHICAL TO ANY HUMAN BEING RIGHTS. THIS WOMEN SHOULD NOT BE A SURGEON WHAT SO EVER !!!!!!!! SRRY NOT SRRY
Only giving one star because you HAVE to choose at least one. Does not deserve even one star. This lady walks around like she's god......oh god! AWEFUL!
Lies. An obvious attempt to cover her tracks. Her notes were almost completely fabricated. For a poor excuse of a Dr. who wouldn't 'allow' me to talk, she sure had a lot to write about. On top of that, actual, hard facts were not input even near correctly, such as which extremity was injured, for one example. Her mind is elsewhere, and her arrogance spews.
Condescending, which then means obviously rude, treated me as if I was 8, 6, or 12, (but I would never talk to my kids that way and never have!) Wouldn't let me explain how I fell, or where it hurt, wouldn't let me show how my wrist wouldn't move, presumed out loud to me that work must be fine and all I am there for is pain-which then means she is making me a drug seeker. I wasn't permitted to say I wanted follow up care to be sure my wrist would heal quickly, and not take a whole year like my elbow for which I didn't seek medical advice. Required me to take her brace in order to schedule MRI but then canceled my MRI after she found out I called to complain. Do not go to her.
Terrible experience. Doctor seemed overbooked so it took forever to see her. She had terrible bed side manner. She was extremely rude and condescending. She chastised me for my care decisions without even attempting to understand my motivations. She had little interest in me as a person and why certain interventions she recommended would not be feasible in my unique situation. I thought I was in an over the top PSA for medical students as an example of apalling bedside manner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
