I had a podiatrist do a joint implant of the big toe that failed. Podiatrist was not interested in helping me. Went to Dr D'Souza and he explained that the implant failed and he did surgery to fuse the joint. He is an excellent surgeon and was very supportive and caring. I highly recommend him.

Dr. D’Souza is a fantastic surgeon who is very skilled in his specialty, has a friendly and easily approachable personality and great bedside manner. He’s done surgery on both my husband and me, and both outcomes were great and allows us to continue our favorite activities. I can’t say enough good things about him!!

We just went through surgery. Which he changed his dates to do surgery to accommodate our date. I crushed my heel 3 years ago and after the first repair still had a lot of pain. He then this time has rebuilt the area above the heel and the true test will be when I walk on it.

Dr. D'Souza is an outstanding physician! I was referred to him in October 2021 with a complicated ankle fracture. He did a great job of reconstructing my ankle, but arthritis set in and I needed an ankle replacement in October 2022. I was recently released from treatment, and I am totally pain-free and able to resume my normal activities. I can't say enough to express my gratitude. I highly recommend Dr. D'Souza.

After two failed attempts on a trimalleolar ankle break at another facility close to my home I was referred to Chicago or Dr D’Souza and chose to go to Peoria after numerous positive recommendations. One year later my ankle has complete fusion and I am returning to work and I have never felt better.The professionalism of the office, staff and Dr D’Souza was outstanding from my first appointment to my last.

Dr. D’Souza offered me a platelet-based injection for my foot explaining how much success he had with the non surgical procedure, the procedure took a few minutes with follow up physical therapy to strengthen the foot muscles and tendons. I had a follow up appointment after the physical therapy sessions had ended with the doctor, which we decided to have a second injection which in some patients is sometimes is required. I am glad that I had an opportunity to be introduced to Dr.D’Souza and to have him take care of my medical needs.

I fell and suffered a trimalleolar right ankle break in Jan 2020. I had two surgeries at a local facility in that resulted in unsuccessful fusion and was referred to Dr D’Souza. One year later I have complete fusion,I am returning to work, and am recovering better every day. The office staff, assistants, and Dr. D’Souza were excellent.
