All the therapists are extremely friendly and personable. They set your treatment plan perfectly to each individual need. They always ask for feedback which to me is very important for your progress. I have been there several times for different reasons. I have always been 100% satisfied with each outcome. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of the many services they offer. My experience with the team at Athletico in Peru, Il was fantastic. I had right shoulder arthroplasty performed on 10-25-2021 but it wasn’t your standard shoulder replacement with the typical 15-20 weight restriction limitations for the rest of one’s life. My surgery was an Arthrosurface component procedure with a polyethylene inlay Glenoid replacement and a metal ball resurfacing of the humoral head. Once rehab (both through Athletico & on my own) is completed, I’ll have no restriction whatsoever to do whatever I want. I chose Athletico in Peru because of my history with Eric Lindenmier who I used for therapy for 2 BHR Hip Replacement rehabs, and a Tricep Avulsion rehab when he was employed by OSF. While rehabbing my Right hip in the summer of 2021, I mentioned my impending shoulder surgery in the fall and said I wanted him to help with the rehab at Athletico in Peru when he informed me he was leaving OSF. I had no regrets making that decision or traveling the extra miles for the 5 months of therapy. Everyone else (Paige, Kay, Gina & Kendra) at the office were great to work with also and as much as I miss seeing everyone there, I hope I don’t need their services anytime soon. But, if I do have the need for any therapy in the future, I won’t hesitate to call.

I have never had physical therapy that worked. Eric took the time to tech me about my body and how to help myself . The entire staff has taught me what my body is capable of. Their compassion and determination that personally came my way was amazing. My back has always been a chronic issue and they have taught me to get my life back.
