List of St. Margaret's Health - Peru's Reviews
Tiffany is VERY rude and disrespectful. She told me “maybe if I would stop talking I would treat you”. They dismissed me with an oxygen level at 91 and sent me home with NO medicine. I drove straight to Spring Valley and they sent me straight to the ICU. IVCH wasted my time and money. Never been so disgusted with a doctors behavior.
St. Margaret's has great Doctors and Nurses. They take time to listen and r very caring. They have a top notch computer records system that has your med history, prescriptions, blood test results. They have a Clinic for Dr. Appointments or Walk-ins. I highly recommend them.
Take everybody's advice and stay as far away from this hospital as possible
My son was recently seen in the ER. His blood pressure was 83/36 sitting in a chair. They got him in a wheelchair and into bed then closed the curtain and left. He was not hooked up to monitor vitals or recheck his blood pressure until I left the room and asked. The nurse started his IV in his left AC artery instead of the vein. The normal saline would not infuse and flashes of blood kept pulsing out into the tubing. She drew all his blood work out of his artery. Thank God it was removed and restarted before harming him! The ER seemed short staffed and overwhelmed.
I have been trying to pay a bill, that is apparently late, for a week now. I have left voicemails with the billing branch, several different numbers might I add, because the operator wasn’t sure who could help. I do not blame the operator. I blame the lazy folks running this group of employees in billing. This is a pathetic excuse for a professional bunch. Find new jobs.If any employees would like to speak with me about it, my name is above. Look me up in your system. Lord knows I can’t get a hold of you.
pain clinic is very unorganized! my first visit yesterday was very unsettling and nerve wreck ING and then I had a nurse named Angela talking down and bossy to me! must own the place to which I will be checking with HR about that! My first visit was my last visit!
Takes too much time for registration and lab. Took about 45 minutes just to get registered
This place is the most despicable example of a hospital and should be closed. The 3rd floor nursing station staff are the rudest people I have ever encountered. The hospital has been given the health care power of attorney 7 times in one month and still can’t locate it. There is no communication from the hospital to family. My father was taken by ambulance, no one would tell us if he was admitted, which room he was in, they are pathetic.
I called St. Margaret’s to inquire about a missing person, maybe the had someone who had lost their memory or even a John Doe at the request of his mother and I was treated with the utmost disrespect! The woman that answered the phone was awful! I stated that we had been looking for almost a week and she says with a HORRIBLE tone, but did you call your local 911?! I say “He’s been missing he since TUESDAY!” (I don’t know who would looking for their child for almost a week and not call the authorities) And she says….”BUT DID YOU CALL 911!” Is this how you train your workers to treat people?????? I am mortified by the way she spoke to me and her 100% lack of concern.
My husband was in for four days with an intestinal blockage. The care he got from the staff on 3rd floor surgical was superb. I can’t say enough about the nurses. They are second to none.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
