This practice and everyone who works here could care less about their patients. The front desk and office staff make patients feel like a nuiscance. At an acne appointment that I made 2 months prior because there was no availibility, the first thing said to me was scolding me for not following up sooner. Ignoring the fact that I was in tears due to my own distress over my acne, Tamara told me to continue the same treatment regimen that "should hopefully start working soon". I was also told that I should've prevented this and made a telehealth appt. After this 'productive' appt, I tried to schedule a future telehealth visit and was told that they weren't even being done anymore and I couldn't. On top of that, I was informed by the front desk staff that the PA was moving and would be leaving the practice, which she didn't feel was important to tell me five minutes prior. Kappelman dermatology has made me feel worse about myself, my skin, and my faith in healthcare providers.

Never had a doc tell you that your getting older “ and ask how old are you now” as if to reinforce a point! It’s unprofessional in any practice, even worse in dermatology this while she admittedly fake tans before vacations. It’s extremely hypocritical and the title above accurately describes her bedside manner! Several years as a patient, surprised I stayed as long as I did. If you’re doubting your appearance this is not the doctor to see for an uplifting experience!

Dr. Kappelman is just fantastic ! Kind, caring and friendly like few. She does not rush going though your issues. Her staff is likewise.

Dr. Kappleman is amazing. She has the best qualities of a doctor: smart, kind, caring, easy to talk to, and really knows her stuff. Her staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend her to anyone for all dermatological needs.
