I couldn't be happier with Family Behavioral Health. Dr. Parvin and Julia Drake have been my family therapists for 3years. I feel connected to my therapist and it truly has been the best decision we have made. They have become a big part of our family. Dr. Parvin and Julia are truly passionate about others and are dedicated to their profession. They are constantly providing judgement free zones and their expertise. Very welcoming. My older son and I have been seeing Dr. Parvin and staff for several weeks now based on a recommendation of someone we know and our experience has been totally different. I have Blue Cross PPO and my son has Blue Cross Anthem and we are just paying our co-pays. Also, neither Dr. Parvin or the counseler has even mentioned the possiblity of either one of us taking any medication so drugs are definitely not being pushed on us. Both of us feel we are benefiting from the counseling so far, although of course change doesnt happen overnight. I was really surprised to see the other review on Google when I was looking up his office phone number and wanted to share my own experience. I will update this review if things ever change but so far so good.

Over medicates, massively. Charges $1300 for a "Comprehensive" visit. My insurance company stopped paying him because of unethical practices. His staff looks down upon the patients and they act like wardens. His reviews on his website are fake. Reviews that can't be bought are the legit ones and speak for themselves. His policy is to come back 1-2 weeks after a medication change. Pay attention to how often your meds are changed and request a copy of your entire chart and billing records.
