When Dr. Martens moved from Rockford it put her an hour and a half away. I continue to see her and while it is a drive it might still take less time than going locally. Edward Medical Group runs a good practice. My appointment was for 9:40 and I was 15 minutes early. I was in at just before 9:40 with no paperwork to fill out since I checked in online. I do not recall ever having to wait for them. Both the Dr. and Bertha are polite, efficient and thorough and after Bertha checked my vitals the Dr. is right in. I never feel rushed even though even though the obviously keep things on schedule. I cannot think of anything I would change.

I shouldn’t have to justify a medical marijuana card in a state where weed is legal. And to tell someone who has had anxiety and depression for 20 years, been hospitalized twice, tried many medications, and sees a therapist regularly that “I don’t do those unless the patient has tried a number of different things to manage the condition they are using marijuana for. We can revisit this after you see your psychiatrist.” I’m sorry, did you not listen to my history or are you stuck in reefer madness culture? Also *maybe* a 4/10 on rapport and “bedside manner.”

Always enjoy seeing Dr. Martens. She listens and takes her time. Gives very good referrals. Good staff too. I have been going to Dr. Martens for years.
