List of Raghu R Pulluru's Reviews
I recently had massive rotator cuff surgery performed by Dr. Raghu Pulluru at Manatee Memorial Hospital, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, my experience with Dr. Pulluru and the entire team was top-notch. Everyone I encountered, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate throughout the entire process. Before the surgery, Dr. Pulluru took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure and answer all my questions and concerns. And his Nurse Practitioner, Joy Hudson, made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way, which helped ease my nerves. I highly recommend Dr. Raghu Pulluru to anyone in need of orthopedic surgery. I was told by a friend that Dr. Pulluru is the “shoulder whisperer”. Well, I can confidently agree with that statement. I am grateful to have had him as my surgeon. Thank you for everything!

After the surgery, Dr. Pulluru and his team provided excellent follow-up care. I have started my shoulder rehab with Dan at Manatee Memorial Hospital. Dan, Tasha and the entire team at Manatee are making sure I am on track with my recovery. They are such an amazing group of therapists! He fixed it and got me back to police work. Did a very good job. Bad injury he knew the plan right when I saw him.
My son tore his ACL & we got an HMO referral to Pulluru. He didn’t put time/effort into preparing my son for surgery & barely said a word at the pre-op/post-op appointments. (Although he did say my son wouldn’t play basketball again & only professional athletes who train 5 hours a day could make a comeback.) The recovery was horrible. It didn’t make sense for the recovery to be so awful for a healthy, athletic, 17 yr. old. Nine months later, my son was back in the operating room. Pulluru left the practice & we were referred to a new doctor. He explained everything in detail & professionally described how the last surgery wrecked my son’s knee. The 2nd surgery lasted over four hours. The new Dr. said it was his most difficult case & he never saw anything like it. Once the new grafts heal in 4-6 months, my son will have to endure a 3rd surgery to continue to fix the wreck Pulluru created. Based on the other poor reviews, I sincerely question the validity of the positive reviews. Beware!

Struggled with shoulder pain for several years and other orthopedists tried cortisone injections and suggested possible labral tears. After 1st assessment with Dr. Pulluru, he knew I had shoulder instability, confirmed with several manual manipulation tests. He reviewed options including PT and surgery. I’d done PT 2x already. Surgery was a success and I now have full, pain-free, use of my shoulder.
Dr. Pulluru has been my doctor for many years & you will not find a better orthopedic doctor. He repaired my shoulder several years ago & I have been pain free since. I was told by another doctor that there was nothing wrong with my shoulder & I was exaggerating my pain. Dr Pulluru not only found out the source of my pain but repaired it & I continue to be pain free since. He is very compassionate & caring about his patients. He is always exploring ways to improve on his techniques & will work diligently to help all those who seek his help. I highly recommend him to all of my friends & family & anyone who asks for my opinion.
I was assigned Dr. Pulluru for my workers comp injury. I had torn my right shoulder in April of 2021. June 28th 2021 I had surgery. It is now Dec 2021 and the improvement I've had since then is absolutely remarkable. Dr. Pulluru is a very patient oriented Dr. He made sure to answer all my questions, ease any anxiety I had about my recovery. I had built a very good relationship with him over these past months. Unfortunately, he is leaving the practice there in Naperville. But he recommended me to another Dr. in Naperville. My next follow up in Jan will be with him. Honestly, I could recommend him to anyone that has any orthopedic issues with any joints to see him. He gave me a brand new shoulder. Now it's up to me to get it moving and strong again like it used too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
