I’m a a father of two boys and have been visiting Dr. Flais’s office for many years. She is the best! Each time we visited her office, she has provided thorough examinations and has shown genuine concern and patience with my boys. I would highly recommend Dr. Flais.

Our family has been under Dr Flais’s care for over 10 years. She is attentive, available after hours, and knows how to work on personal approach that fits their personalities. She is thorough and scientific in her approach and explains everything. The appointments always send with her asking the kids if they have any questions and then us. I could not be happier.

My daughter who is 10 has been a patient of Dr. Flais since birth. I make it a point to visit Dr. Flais for all appointments because she is that amazing! Her knowledge, compassion, and expertise exceed all expectations. I trust her with medical and parenting advice. My daughter was ill at the age of 5 1/2 and Dr. Flais travelled to Shirley Ryan Ability Lab to visit my daughter. My daughter was under the care of a pediatric neurologist team; however, Dr. Flais visited her just to see how she was doing. Dr. Flais teaches medical students, is an accomplished author, and an amazing pediatrician. If you are in need of a pediatrician, Dr. Flais is the one to go to!

Her bedside manner is very unprofessional and not what I expect from a medical physician. She was rushing and commenting that this was a 10 min appointment. Her response to my concerns were very condescending and judgmental in making me feel that she was a better and more attentive mother. While mentioning her personal affairs in relation to my concerns. Her attitude was completely unprofessional. My daughter will never see Dr. Shelly Flais agian.
