Very thorough, courteous, understanding to my concerns and answers all my questions. Never seems annoyed to explain a process and even draws out a rough sketch for visual assistance. Highly recommend him. Unlike a lot of doctors he also has a personality and is a nice guy.

Doctor Acevedo was very nice, explained my mri results very thoroughly as well as my options. I’ve never had a steroid shot before and he answered all of my questions. He didn’t make me feel rushed or stupid. I very much enjoyed him as a doctor and look forward to seeing him in a few months. He is definitely an asset to Blessing Health System!

Dr. Acevedo encouraged me, answered my questions thoroughly, and seemed genuinely concerned about my overall well being. I am happy that he is my provider for my chronic knee pain. He gave me viable options, and had a demeanor of compassion and professionalism.

Dr Acevedo was very helpful in making sure I understood my options. He explained what would be done if I chose to have surgery, and made it very simple for me to understand.

I went to see Dr Acevedo after an at work injury. My MRI showed a complex meniscus tear in my right knee. Dr. Acevedo went over my MRI with me and we came up with a surgical plan. I had my left knee operated on in the same manner at the Kansas City Orthopedic Institute. Though I am happy with my left knee outcome I am far more pleased with my right knee that Dr. Acevedo repaired. He did a stellar job and I have recovered 100%. I have no idea why people go to Columbia for orthopedic surgery when we have the finest surgeon's and surgery center in Quincy, IL. If I EVER have another orthopedic issue I can guarantee that I will go back to Dr Acevedo. I call him Dr Awesome Acevedo! I also want to say that his office staff especially Lori and his nurse Angie are some if the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure meeting. I appreciate everything they did for me along my journey.

Dr Acevedo is a good doctor. He is always smiling and laughing when you see him. He is caring, kind, and understanding. If you walk out of his office without knowing what is wrong or you don’t understand if is you’re fault. Dr Acevedo takes time with you and tries to make sure you understand everything and he ask you if you have any questions. He makes your appointment pleasant. His nurses are ever kind, and caring also. I would recommend him to anyone.Thank you Dr Acevedo for what you do.

Everyone at the office is wonderful. The ladies at the desk are super friendly and highly efficient, the nurse is great and Dr Acevedo is awesome i had no pain after my surgery. He is very kind, efficient, thorough and knowledgeable. He knew what he was doing and did a wonderdul job. Before, during and followup visits were all great. I felt like he listened and heard what my concerns were and he explained everything very thoroughly. I highly recommend him amd his office to everyone
