The whole team was great, highly highly recommend! They were thorough and patient and crafted a plan specifically for me that got me back to healthy way sooner than expected.

I’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience here and I am leaving in much better condition than when I arrived. I would definitely recommend. I worked with Erik, and he made me feel like part of the process. I respect his knowledge base and his ability to relate to his clients.

Erik has been a great therapist to work with. I came to Athletico thinking my knee injury might get better and just something that I would just have to endure. Erik listened to my concerns and from the first moment said “I think that you can have a lot of positive outcomes with our work together “ He was right, my knee feels much better and he’s given me the exercise tools to continue to keep my knee healthy. Pain is not something that I have to endure but can really do something positive about. Thanks Erik

I recently finished up 10 sessions at Athletico and the progress I made exceeded my expectations. I worked with Erik who is very knowledgeable, personable, and a great listener. I also worked with Josie once and she is also excellent. Actually all of the staff I encountered were great to deal with starting with Gina, the cheerful receptionist at the front desk. I also appreciated that Erik sent me off with home exercises I can continue on my own as needed which will help immensely going forward. This location is easy to access, plenty of free parking. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing physical therapy.

I got my confidence back. From day one, I knew this was going to be a great experience. In January, I fell and dislocated my ankle. My doctor suggested I do physical therapy. Not only was this location convenient for me to get to but it was what I needed. The staff was professional and expressed concern everytime I encountered them. They scheduled me around my work schedule as I progressed back to work. I am grateful for their assistance on my road to recovery. Thank you to the entire River Forest Staff. You ROCK.

Had a great interactive experience all around. Eric was on top of his game and all others who stepped in. Very friendly environment, too.

I’m a low-level amateur competitive cyclist, preparing for the 2022 season. Started feeling pain in one knee, and after resting it a few weeks with no improvement, made a same day appointment. Erik ran me through some tests, included a squat that was 7/10 on the pain scale. After a brief treatment, he had me squat again….pain down to a 2/10. A few weeks later and am back to normal. Aside from fixing the pain, he took the time to educate me on some movements to avoid injury going forward. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome.

Although I have received physical therapy services from Athletico in the past, this was my first experience at the River Forest location. I initially thought the facility was small and was hesitant to schedule my sessions there, but found the Athletico team at this location does big things. They get results. I received both pre-op and post-op therapy at this facility from Kari Mares. She has amazing people skills, is knowledgeable, and results oriented. We worked as a team to follow the prescribed treatment plan while also considering my comfort level. Having successfully completed my therapy, I am ready to resume my activities. I give Athletico River Forest 2 very enthusiastic "thumbs-up". Ps: the location is conveniently located and has great parking.

I underwent four months of physical therapy through Athletico and it completely resolved the tendinitis I experienced in my shoulder. Erik was fantastic to work with - he explained everything clearly and was genuinely personable. I also had the opportunity to work with Josie, who was just as professional and positive. I had several appointments here. This company seems to be designed and run really well. I found the therapy, the facility, the scheduling, the process, and the people to be well-organized and professional. I worked with Erik, who seems to have a great understanding of his craft as well as the ability to listen to and collaborate with clients. I felt like he managed the process really well, and I ended up getting exactly what I wanted/needed. And the other employees were also great. Overall very very positive experience.
