Daniel Herdeman's Online Review Report Card

He is now retired buy was my doc for years up until a yr ago when he retired n was the best doc I have ever had. Very sad to see him go but happy 4 him as well.

Dr herdeman has been my physician for over four years now. Whenever I have an office visit it's not just a quick 5 minutes and I'm out the door, he actually talks to you and listens as well to get to the bottom of my issues. He has been treating my asthma and I haven't had any attacks in 3 years. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new primary care physician.

Friendly doctor, but appears to not look at records very well. A couple labs came back abnormal and he signed a note saying all was well. Don’t even mention “workman’s comp” to him. He’ll send you away as quick as he can! There was no doubt that he doesn’t want to deal with anything WC related. I felt betrayed that I was rejected after being his patient for a few years.

Want a caring doctor ? Want to be honest, and not judged ? This is the doctor to make yours ! He is compassionate, and caring. If you're about dishonesty, pass om him. He has no time for being the terrific doctor he is with cons. This gentleman is respectable, has integrity and will be straight with you about all of your medical needs. I'm 61 and have been to many doctors, I have never found a doctor that I have felt I could tell everything and anything to...but, Dr. Herdeman. I admire him, as a doctor and a friend. The staff treats you poorly. They tried not to touch me and said "we don't want what you have." Dr. Herdeman did not check my throat with a tongue depressor nor a light of any kind. He did not check my neck, my sinuses, or my chest. He spoke to me from a distance and asked me to make sure I kept my mask on. He spoke down to me. I informed him that my 11-month-old son was also sick. He did not care. My son was dx with herpangina by his pediatrician. I have it too. Dr. H missed it by not looking.

Essentially, the staff treats you poorly. They force you to wear a mask when you come in when you are sick, which seemed antiquated since I had noticed that even our walk-in clinic does not do this. Did they expect to only see healthy people there? Anyway, the staff treated me like I had the plague and barely took my vitals. They tried not to touch me at all and said they don't want what I have. Why do you work in a doctor's office? Dr. Herdeman saw my symptoms and agreed that the walk-in clinic doctor was probably right about my influenza diagnosis and that can sometimes cause you to cough up blood and phlegm as I exhibited. I informed him that my 11-month-old son was also sick. He did not seem to care. He got me a lung x-ray to rule-out a lung infection or something more serious. Later, my son was diagnosed with herpangina (coxsackie virus A). I am still nursing, which explains my symptoms and my husband's lack of symptoms. My husband looked down at my throat and asked me to stick my tongue out all the way and used his iPhone flashlight on high. Yes, I had the same thing my son had. What a surprise? The walk-in clinic did not catch it, but they are overwhelmed by patients. That walk-in clinic doctor still made more of an effort. Dr. Herdeman did not catch this. What point was there in going to the doctor?

I visited him for the first time today. First he didn't knock before entering room which completely bothers me and then was being outrageously rude about my religious belief because I don't get immunized. I am a white female in my early 20's and left the office in tears due to his lack of respect. The whole visit he talked about my beleif and tried to force me into the immunization followed by ridiculing me about my "lack of knowledge" I would NEVER recommend this doctor to anyone. The manager at this Woodside clinic did clear all charges from my visit but like the other rating he sent a prescription to the pharmacy that coated me $5 before and this time $30. Unless your an elderly man I would stay clear of this MD. I felt talked down to a bilittled my whole appointment and each time I made it clear to him I was not willing to go through immunizations he pushed more and more telling me that driving a car and eating a piece of meat was more dangerous. Has the mannerisms of a robot, he does not listen at all. He's liberal with prescribing pills, which is frustrating at times. Not interested in getting to the bottom of the health concerns I have during my visits, he'll simply throw pills at me. He'll spend 5-10 minutes with me spewing nonsense about the fact I am only 22 and there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with me. I don't trust this man at all with my health.
