Dr. Mardini is the best oncologist in the area. He stays current and precribes the latest advanced treatment options that are available. He listens to any issues or side effects and takes immediate action. When I was diagnosed with an aggresive form of cancer, he implemented a successful treatment plan that stopped the cancer from metastasizing and becoming terminal. I am in remission now and cancer free. I call him the 'Magician' for his expertise and lifesaving results. I will be forever grateful to him for his knowledge, care and kindness. I can now get on with living life thanks to him and his staff.

One of the best Doctors I have been seen by. He is so personal and he really takes time to educate you and help you understand what he is telling you. He took more time than I have ever had a doctor spend with me and he genuinely cared about my health and well being. This Doctor is a gem!!!

Upon review of tests and phyical exam of a breast mass the size of a golf ball, he suggested genetic counseling in 3 months. I had previously had the counseling and the genetic test for brca 1 which was negative. I was no longer interested in playing doctor games that did not address the existing problem. He even had me go to OSF to sign the medical release and have it faxed to him . I did so, but He never acknowledged having received it. Wasted my time.

My experience with Dr. Mardini was a memorable one. He is one of the best physicians in the Rockford il area hands down. Very thorough and to the point, but he's caring at the same time. I felt as though I was his only patient with each visit. He also takes his time to explain what's going on with you & what the next step is going to be (even drew a picture for me to get a better understanding). If I could clone all of my doctors into a Dr.Mardini I would.
