I love Dr Schock And His Entire Staff! They are very friendly and always respond promptly! I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes for my appointment. Highly recommend him!
Great staff ! Dr. Schock is awesome! Down to earth and easy going . I personally never had a good or great doctor relationship but been with him for going on 3 yrs now and its been for me personally the best dr to patient relationship ive had . I would definitely recommend
I was recommended to Dr Schock by a friend When my previous doctor retired. I am so glad I found him he really listens and takes time and is open to alternative care also. He referred me to a neurologist when headaches and neck pain weren’t being figured out and that was the key to help get my pain under control. I’m sad to be moving away I hope I can find a doctor and staff as caring and kind as Dr. Schock and Heidi!
Dr.Schock is the best doctor we have ever had. He is a very caring and knowledgeable primary physician. We highly recommend him to everyone.
With hours that are very restricted, and a staff that is extremely rude, this is the rating i would give them. Rockford is a city with 3 very large hospitals, that are available 24/7, and when you are a patient with Dr Shocks practice, it cannot be on a friday through late monday afternoon. They are a horrible place. Choose a doctor from one of those hospitals, where someone is there for you no matter what the day. And those doctors and hospitals care for you all of the time.
My pharmacist couldnt get through to this doctor from Friday through late monday afternoon, for Blood pressure med refill, there was a problem with the drug and needed an alternative, the pharmacist knew what to do but the doctor was unavailable to approve it for 4 days, this is unacceptable. And then, the just wonderful front desk phone answering person said you know we dont work friday, saturday, and this is on the Doctors desk for the afternoon on monday well my blood pressure cannot wait while they have a few days off!! Horrible place and i will spread this info far and wide!!
My whole family have been patients of Dr.Schock since we moved here in 2009 and I have never had a better Dr. than Dr Schock. My husband and I are moving out of state and I will miss this great Dr. and his staff. Everyone in his office have been wonderful at every visit. I have never had a complaint. I only hope when we get to North Carolina we can find a Dr. half as good as Dr. Schock and receptionist as nice as Heidi.
It is unfortunate that I must give this review because I liked Dr. Schock. He has been my primary doctor for about 5-6 years. I have seen negative reviews online regarding his staff/office manager Heidi but never thought much about it because all she does is take my appointments. I now understand the negative reviews. This must be one of the worst office managers for a doctor I have ever seen.I have seen the doctor on numerous occasions regarding neck pain. The last call I had with the office they told me the doctor said there is nothing left he can do for my neck. I asked them for a referral at which time they said you will have to have a doctor visit for a referral and the earliest they can get me in is next week. So I don’t understand, I have seen the Dr. on numerous occasions, you told me the doctor said there is nothing he can do, but yet need me to come in next week to get a referral and I am in pain now. So, I got frustrated and told them never mind I will call back. The next day I woke up in tremendous pain throughout my entire body. I went to immediate care that did not do lab work on the spot and I was told this needs to go through your primary doctor. Here’s where it gets interesting. I called to make an appointment in which Heidi was rude said it will be next week, then interrupts me puts me on hold for 3 minutes comes back on the line starts talking about she talked to the doctor and that there is nothing left he can do. I said this is for a different issue, I need to get lab work for pain throughout my body. She kept saying she talked to the doctor he said there is nothing he can do. Long story short, I could not get it through to her for the life of me that this is a different issue and I needed the appointment. I didn’t even care if it was next week, she basically refused to give me the appointment at which time I got upset and said do I need to find another doctor and she said Yes you do.Call 1Call 2All this was is miscommunication, but because Heidi is so rigid and stubborn and would just not listen. I was forced to find a new doctor. At a time when you are in pain, you expect your doctor’s office to be a least a little compassionate about your situation. Forcing me to find a new doctor at a time when I was in a lot of pain was horrible and to top it off it was not even the doctor, it was the receptionist that would not let me talk to my doctor. Just Horrible!
Went very well listened to all my concerns not in a hurry to rush you out
He Listens to patient, finds best treatment Possible.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
